Another important detail of the Alien Rangers is that due to some tricky events during the third episode, their identities were exposed to the public and the whole city of Angel Grove knew who they were. Since they were aliens anyway people didn't try to over examine their powers or their purpose on Earth. However they were honored in a public ceremony and given medals. In addition young Bulk and Skull always recognized them. They do technically count as the first team to openly share their identities until Lightspeed Rescue which is the first full season to build off of this concept!

Boom Studios should do a graphic novel on the Alien Rangers. They have so many creative points they could do. They could tell the story of their battle with Hydro Hog, or a story where Billy is a Aquitar citizen and he has to help the Alien Rangers with a villain on their planet, or even a story with a new Aquitar ranger team. We also haven’t seen much of the planet of Aquitar so there’s so much you can create there too!!

Also, about the Alien Rangers not needing Morphers. One PR fanfic tried to explain this. For the human Rangers, Morphers act as a gateway to the Morphing Grid, but the Coins were never made to function like that. The powers are meant to be accessed like the Alien Rangers access them. This can be done when a Ranger is at peace with themselves, in harmony with the Universe around them. The human Rangers never realised their full potential, thus were unable to fully tap into the Power Coins without an external device.

I actually would like to know more about the Alien Rangers, maybe flesh out why the team has a ninja theme that they never talk about. I know it's because of the Super Sentai they were based on, but I want a reason from the Power Rangers lore. An entire season of Alien Rangers would be awesome, but it will probably never happen. The blue Alien Ranger (Cestro) is the only male blue ranger to wear a light blue color as the light blue is usually for the female blue rangers. I always found that kind of confusingly interesting. Just a weird fact.

I'd love if we saw Aquitar and it had a bit of a Japanese aesthetic but underwater. It wouldnt even be that random. There was a legend of a sea dragon's underwater temple and japanese dragons are associated with rivers too so they could base it off of that.

This was my FAVORITE power rangers growing up. It always upset me that no one else knew about it. They kept thinking I was mixing shows. I loved the idea of mega zords that didnt need pilots. Which always confused me on how you would operate a zord with buttons and levers.

They had to use them sparingly because the Kakuranger mecha were used for the all the Power Rangers Ninja stuff and unlike most of the teams, Tsuruhime, NinjaWhite was the clear leader. And Power Rangers wanted to keep it more male focused, so you couldn't have a GIRL leading the team. Even when we get to Timeforce (based on Timerangers), Timeforce Pink, Jen, is clearly more of the leader, but they still put Wes in that role on a regular basis.

Most likely they still have their powers after all this time since hydro-hog was destroyed. Then again there are probably other villains over there that required them to upgrade. That plus Billy probably invented whole new powers and zords for them by now. He's probably a ranger himself again.

I would of loved for them to throw in some more Alien Rangers. Whether it's Trey Of Triforia appearing on Aquitar or the rangers answering a distress call from them. It could of been a cool way to fill in some time. Especially back then when they were airing 3-4 new episodes a week. They could of done a few mini-series here and there about the alien rangers. If anything I would like to see More of the Alien Rangers in Comic Form, and it would be kind of a dream come true for me if they are able to cross them over with the Omega Rangers. And Maybe with other Ranger Teams as well which includes may be Lord Drakkon. I don't know about that last one.

Having seen Kakuranger, there's a lot Power Rangers could have done with that footage. Sure one of the gags of the show was placing comic books stingers like the Batman 66 show, but they didn't do this all the time. Still, given that Power Rangers was more focused on wrapping up Mighty Morphin' era and doing character dives, I don't think there was room for more Alien Rangers, even if there was an interest. Maybe had they came back more times during Zeo, but even then you couldn't use that Kakuranger footage as to my knowledge I don't think Ohranger did a serious crossover with them.

I just want to point out that as far as the show was concerned, it's never stated where the Aquitian Ranger powers actually come from, Cestro only ever states that their Battle Borgs came from Ninjor. Now is it possible he gave them the Ranger powers too? Yes that's very likely but not confirmed in the show, only in the comics.

Alan Palmer, in at least 2 different interviews, said that the Alien Rangers were supposed to get their own spinoff show that ran concurrently with Zeo, but Saban was ultimately too cheap to want to produce it. Honestly, I would have loved to have seen it. Hopefully, with David Yost coming back to the show, we'll get some form of explanation as to what the Alien Rangers have been up to since we last saw them unmorphed in Zeo.

Most of the time, when looking through season catalogs, this series isn't mentioned by name. It's included as part of Season 3 of MMPR. But it really should have been a full season. And not with the rangers being kids. It should have just been their new powers. Either way, I did enjoy it, back in the day it was live, as well as every time I binge-watch from the beginning. I did that last year, in fact.

What I've been binge-watching ever since I completed the Zordon Era, I did Time Force, then I did a buncha Sentai series. I finally watched Zyuranger and it was amazing. Then I moved onto Star Trek to relive that as well. I recently finished TOS, TAS, Picard, Voyager, Discovery, Enterprise, SNW, DS9, and up last was TNG. In that order. I prefer the older treks.I tried to watch lower decks, but it just feels like a family guy parody show. But regarding Zyuranger, I used to think it was way more serious than MMPR, but now that I've watched it, it can be really funny at times. Especially the scenes in Bandora's palace, like Grifforzer being a sexist towards Lami (the kitchen comment). lol You would have never seen that in MMPR.

I liked their presence, but as a kid of course, I wanted to see the original rangers at the time back to action. I was never keen on the kid thing, so it was a bit of a setback to me. I did find interest in the alien rangers, but I still wanted to earth rangers back to action. Would I want to know more about the alien rangers? Not really, but if it included Billy, then I'd feel welcome to the story.

Hey there Sixth Ranger just wanted to say thank for this wonderful video dealing with the Alien Rangers. I have to admit that the Alien Rangers weren't one of my favorite Ranger teams, probably because the alien mask and make up design was a bit odd in my opinion. Nevertheless, as a Power Rangers fan, I have to admit that the Alien Rangers were a good team that helped bridge the end of Mighty Morphin' to the beginning of Zeo. As for more adventures with this team of Power Rangers, I wouldn't mind reading something from Boom! Studios that dealt with the Alien Rangers before they came to Earth or after they went back to their home planet. Anyways thanks again for this video. Hope that you have a great day. Based on a previous comment question i will try to answer : What happens to a common monster who survives the rangers . In case of the fury rangers , the monsters , sporiks who survive the rangers , grow . There are almost 0 chances of that happening and though the show tried to hide it it did happen . Take Choobo from Ninja Storm . Choobo was a joke who got it big in life , the rangers destroyed his giant form yet he survived going back as a slave to Lothor so it is possible . However i was in shock when Rito and a few goons destroyed the Thunder Zords. That was the most shocking power ranger scene bested only by Lord Zed arrival and still chills me to my bones even today . Rito and Rita s common goons have destroyed the Thunderzords and escaped Rito was not a monster created by zed and Rita , however he was infused with the dark wands spell to grow giant . This is a very important detail : Whenever Zed creates a monster , he casts energy from his dark body and needs an item to spawn it . Should a monster survive the rangers and Zed sent that monster , then most likely the energy used by Zed to create the monster , is returning to Zed s body . We could say the same thing for Z putties but it wont work because the energy cost to create a putty is minimum so Zed can just mae more of them

I didn't watch this until a few years ago when it was briefly available on the Canadian Netflix. I'm not even sure if or when it aired in Canada. Maybe I just missed it somehow, but I remember stuff going right into Zero without any explanation thinking it was very strange. Figured I missed a TV movie or something rather than an entire miniseries.

The mini series worked well with the characters and was a good gauge for the studio and production team on how well fans react to an all new ranger team for post zeo/turbo. Only shame was the Sentai series had really cool storylines that couldn’t have been carried over with the alien species they picked

Ah ha I was right, Ninjor did give the alien rangers some power coins. And because these rangers are from another planet called aquatar. I've been thinking if they were to be a brand new mighty Morphin Power rangers come back series, with new teenagers taking over as the world's very first Power rangers. Taught by the original team of the rangers, and the original cast were to reprise their roles to teach the new kids. And to become the next generation mighty Morphin Power rangers. And continue the legacy of the mighty Morphin Power rangers, which was the very first superhero team. Looking alike, and having very unique colors, with powerful weapons and giant machines called zords. By keeping the legacy alive of the world's very first Power rangers. With a new generation, and new teenagers taking over the power. If something like this were to happen, if they would do a full season 4, I wonder if it would be possible if the alien rangers would give their power coins to the new generation mighty Morphin Power rangers. So that the Power rangers can have extra power, to fight against evil. And to even make the legacy of the mighty Morphin Power rangers even more powerful. And if season 4 were to have a very good title, they would have to use the name mighty Morphin Power rangers of course. But if it gets a very good title for the series. But still would be like season 4 at the same time, should the title be called. Mighty Morphin Power Rangers alien power, should it be called Mighty Morphin Power rangers aquatar power or should it be called Mighty Morphin Power rangers samurai power ? Because one thing for sure because Ninjor gave the alien rangers their own power coins, and I believe to become the very first alien rangers for their own planet. It's almost like as if those power coins represent the theme of samurai, and their super costumes or suits look like a mix between ninja and samurai. So I like to hear you guys think about this idea if it ever happens, should it be called Mighty Morphin Power rangers alien power. Should it be called Mighty Morphin Power rangers aquatar Power, or should it be called Mighty Morphin Power rangers samurai power ? If there were to be a next generation Mighty Morphin Power rangers show, and one of those three would be the title for season 4
