In my game, I had Piper as a companion, and I passed one of the difficult Charisma checks (activated by giving Mama Murphy some Jet). Skinny gave us to the count of ten to leave before he and his goons would open fire. Nick and I made it out with plenty of time, but Piper just picked up an empty cup and sat down. I had to rush back in and rescue her.

Its also possible to get a foresight from Mama Murphy, where she tells you what to say when you encounter Skinny. This adds a new dialogue option, and if you choose it, Malone lets you go too.

It always feel so surreal hearing Jim Cummings' voice in an adult oriented game (i.e. the voice of Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Black Pete, Fat Cat, Darkwing Duck and so many other well-known Disney characters). On the castings side that's actually rather brilliant; so many people playing these games grew up on the days of programming blocs like Disney Afternoon. Soupcan reminded me of Roberto from Futurama, the psychotic robot who keeps trying to stab people.

Interesting that you don't mention the history of Park Street Station - which along with Boylston Street Station are the two oldest subway stations in the country, opened in 1897. Lately, the city has been talking about selling the rights to the station's name to the national banks, so it will be called "Sovereign Bank Park Street Station." In the Fallout universe, as in real life, corporations such as Vault-Tec or Wells Fargo are given the liberty to buy anything they want and hurt whoever they want for a profit. You also question the logic of saving money by building the Vault within a subway station when the only point is to keep union workers on a payroll... well that's how it works, that's how it worked during the Big Dig. People forget that aside from the workers on the ground, the people making the majority of the money from these endless projects are the developers... the more corners they cut, the more money they make... (blaming the union is a classic capitalist move, thanks for that Bethesda.) Anyway, the Big Dig project was a colossal financial disaster and resulted a commuter's death when the poorly constructed tunnel collapsed onto her car.

Collin Loser Pretty sure loading screens change on the situation in Skyrim in Fallout 4. I could be wrong, but if Oxhorn fast travels to Vault 114, there is a dramatic increase in the chance you'll get a loading screen related to Vault 114.

Well done lore videos are my favourites, and especially Oxhorn ones. I'd take a Fallout( or Bioshock, Dark Souls, any lore heavy game) video over a good movie, series or animation any day of the week. Only thing that comes close to these vids in entertainment are self narrated Neil Gaiman books.

Ive done about 12 play throughs and my most recent im a stealth sniper, im a level 36 and play on hard, only missing 4 bobble heads and a few magazines but this is by far my fav build so far, its so beast

I know this is an old video, but here is a fact: If you leave Vault 114 without killing Skinny Malone, you have the chance to find him again in the wasteland as a random encounter. Turns out he was kicked by his own men and he's trying to form a new gang.

The Fallout wiki mentions that Skinny Malone is named after Bugsy Malone and he and the triggermen are based on Al Capone's gang, but what nobody seems to have caught is that the combination of "skinny" and Malone's obvious slight obesity is a massive callout to Fat Tony from simpsons. Am I the only person who immediately thought of that?
