I was raised my first 30 years living in McDowell County. I have lived my recent 28 years in Mercer co next to Wyoming co. I truly grew up in the woods. The encounters we had we just laughed them off but scared as crap. Now with the mountain top removal as it stands in 2024 in places like Maybeury, McComas, Bramwell, Bud, Herndon, Matoaka and so forth, it seems things have died off. I think, whatever lived here has or is leaving and whatever evidence it has left is being removed by dozers, hauled by truck and train sadly never to return. The woods was our play area and work area for generations.

I've never seen a Bigfoot but I was 30 to 40 feet from a black panther in middle Tennessee. It stopped and turned to look at me. We had eye contact and then it turned and walked away slowly like it didn't have a care in the world. When it got to the tree line it disappeared into the underbrush. It's what got me interested in cryptids.

Born in Nashville, raised in Portland and living in Clarksville. I've heard a few reports of black panthers, especially in the woods around the area between Portland and Gallatin known as the Ridge. I never doubt them. The way I see it, if people wanted to make up a story about seeing something odd, why choose an animal that actually exists instead of making up something crazier, you know?

When I drove OTR the company i drove for had a drop lot for empty trailers out in the middle of nowhere along the ohio river in west Virginia. I hated going there in the middle of the night. There was not a single light there. The field was never cut, it was just creepy. Trucks and trailers would get stuck when it rained. It was a mess. I would hear things sometimes that really concerned me. I hated that place and so did other guys i knew that worked for the company.

I sat through all 6 hours of this documentary and I've learned a lot about the yetis...what a fascinating monkey! Not sure about peanut butter, though, as monkeys normally like bananas. They could lay a trail of bananas back to the zoo and get the hungry yeti to wander into an empty cage. They could then charge to have your photo taken with a yeti. I'd pay $5 for a yeti photo! : 0

We drove from Ohio to West Virginia to pick up a trailer for a relative's friend. It's a small town just over the border. The entire time I felt we, the town was being observed. Not singling anyone in particular out. I'm from Colorado, done my share of camping and horse camping in Colorado and Wyoming. I've had Bigfoot encounters in both of those states. So I understand coyotes, bears, Mt lion, deer, elk, antelope, game vs how Bigfoot changes a person from predator into prey. I listen to my dogs and horses.

We have a bigfoot living in an old coal mine, or it was last I knew. I know everyone had burning curiosity about the boogers, but maybe yall will reach point you will understand anyone that fights so hard to be left alone should be left alone. Just maybe they've seen what trends to happen to any creature humans manage to get ahold of,zoos,science experiments etc. Maybe it would be best fit all to live and let live. Mr Matzke is a good narrator at describing what makes for good and plentiful food sources and the creatures building nests whether they be in the trees for their young away from the eyes of potential predators or to not be seen at all for a certain duration of time whatever that may be and for a series of creatures that seems to have the strength of ten people and probably has the ability to blink out and go to another dimension that we cannot percieve without certain electronic devices or maybe not even then or it is seen when it wants to be and that is really something that has special abilities but because of its size and its smell and if it doesn't sense aggression from the human(s) depending on how close each is to each other and you can gaurantee that just because you might only percieve one doesn't mean that their is only one because they probably travel in groups of three adults or more if they have children with them

You would think a person would stay standing up so they would be noticed if it was a prank but that creature didn't want to be noticed period. Better than the Patterson video if you ask me.

What I don’t understand is those people who won’t give the subject the time of day. They immediately write it off as legends, stories and a bunch of fools saying they saw monsters in their closet. Why do some people have to be literally smacked in the face with something to believe it? Or at least take it into consideration instead of whole sale writing it off as fakes & hoaxes? For those of us that don’t believe Sasquatch exists, we KNOW Sasquatch exists, it’s got nothing to do with believing. It’s knowing just like people know dogs exist, we know just as plainly that Big Foot exists. Yet, some won’t even entertain the conversation. Are they just that stubborn or bull headed or is there actually a deep primal fear within and it’s easier to deny that fear instead of dealing with it head on. I’m not sure, but some people really need to have an encounter to open their eyes.

@xXxDarkSoulxXx6 ай бұрын
@@swizerland100 Yes. When I was 12. I’m 57 now. It was just outside the east gate of Yellowstone National Park. It was close, 10” between its face and mine. The only thing separating us was a single pane RV window. It wasn’t a mask, wasn’t a bear, wasn’t a dream. I saw it’s eyes move, blink, the corners of its mouth move/twitch, wrinkled its nose I believe trying to smell me. It was as real as the screen you’re sitting in front of right now. I believe it was curious. Although I was terrified I never really got the sense that it wanted to hurt me or it was hunting me. It’s eyes, so human like, so inquisitive. I saw intelligence in those eyes, I’ll never forget them. It was huge, minimum 8ft, probably a little taller. The top of the rv window was at 8 feet and it had to hunch or bend at the knees to see in the window. It was massive, its shoulders were 4x the width of mine. Head to match. The entire thing lasted less than a minute. I never told anyone that story until 2 years ago. I didn’t want the story to die with me so I opened up to a Big Foot researcher, Miguel from Sasquatch Theory.

It’s because these guys say things like how unimaginably huge these things are in one breath, then say the thing was 6 feet tall… like what? Another thing people need to understand is that Bigfoot has been in Native American culture for thousands of years depicted in cave drawings and native cultures not only in USA but other counties as well people keep forgetting that it’s not some creature that Hollywood made up. For beef jerky commercials. They been here longer than we have. These creatures are ancient. And I believe they do exist maybe their population is not as big as we think it is or maybe it’s bigger than we think it is. We don’t have any type of data or actual proof to say how many there are I believe that maybe 40 to 50% of the sightings are actually real, who’s going to run around in a monkey costume in the middle of nowhere with no roads no vehicle access or helicopters it’s not possible humans aren’t that fast and we’re definitely not fast on hills and steep, treacherous up hill terrain. In all directions . We don’t have that balance or strength. You can be the best climber in the world. We cannot move as fast as people claim to have seen these things move don’t think the government will ever come forward and recognize this creature as being real because they have too much money to make & to lose on tourism and infrastructures at one point in time people did not know about silverback gorrils just like every other creature that we found or haven’t found yet so much untapped wilderness in this world. We can’t be everywhere at once maybe in the future will be able to scale every end of the planet, technologically but right now I don’t think we have the manpower to do that it will take millions of humans billions and billions of dollars and countless hours and years of tedious research we’re blind to a lot of things not literally but mentally. And the human race is a very young species. There’s billions of species that rolled this earth that still have not been found as of right now, but will be in the future just like the ocean and the Amazon forest., my theory is the government already knows about that. They lied to us about everything in this world that the government knows about that they would never tell us think about that next time you tell people that they’re lying not everybody is a lying hoaxer . 50 years from now maybe there will be super powerful cameras at 100% visibility at night that can maybe capture them in exquisite detail. The government probably already has that too. They just don’t come forward with these types of things.
