Let's be honest, narrating a whole book can be a bit of a marathon, and I think the narrator did a fantastic job! Remember fellow listeners the beauty of audiobooks lies in their flexibility. You can adjust the playback speed as you like from the settings.Just find the perfect tempo that suits your ears and please stop complaining. Again a big thank you to the author for sharing so generously this wonderful cozy mystery with us that too for free. And to the narrator? Bravo for taking on such a challenging role! Let's remember that every narration artist has their own unique style, and sometimes, the most unexpected choices can lead to the most memorable experiences. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm off to enjoy this delightful mystery with the tempo that suits me. Sorry I could get past the first ten. AI reads are terrible but so are humans that have no animation readings skills. There is no difference between the reads female characters to the male characters. I listen to audio books as I work and this was not enough to keep going. Sorry

Agree. The emphasis on random words is distracting. I got 30 minutes in. 26:09 “along the SIDE of the burger bar”.
