The funeral service of 11-year-old Rachel Bhagwandeen at her Freeport home on Saturday 3rd September 2022.
Rachel was mauled by a dog belonging to one of her cousins at her grandparent's home on Thursday 25th August 2022, at Solomon Street, Vistabella in San Fernando.
Her father, pastor 47-year-old Kelvin Bhagwandeen, of the New Beginning House of Praise, is officiating at the service.

My deepest condolences to the parents & family of this Angel.. This entire incident touched my heart & soul.. It brought tears to my eyes.. Be assured.. this Angel is resting comfortable in the Arms Of God... Not a leaf fall from a tree... nor a feather fall from a bird.. without God knowing... We may not understand His wisdom... but for the grieving ones... I say.. pls continue to trust God...

Very sad and unfortunate. We need to learn from situations like this... whether with humans or animals... never take anything or anyone for granted. Both the child as well as the pet have their places in this world.. no blame on any.. very heartbreaking in every way.. 😢😢😢 Peace
