Good evening My Love ...😊 Hope you had a Blessed Sunday Scott! 💖 Thank you for your Video, as usual you've not only outdone yourself, but you were cracking me up with some of those lines of Your's!!!😁 Elmer was quite a character! He was definitely treated harshly at the end of his life and it certainly wasn't deserved! You gave him back some dignity. Thanks Scott! Your Pal Eileen 😊

It’s a wonderful Monday morning here in southwestern Ontario. Before I get up and winterized my motorhome, I thought I’d put on Scott on tape. And before I knew it. I now am 3 Scott videos in and I already watched one of them prior!! NOW I have no ambition to do any yard work. Thanks Scott!!

Oh my !!! I just about fell off my chair, cause this gave me a jolt . Many years ago I worked with a woman who had the last name of McCurdy . That was her married name . She was originally from California , her husband was from Maine . I remember one time her hubby told me , he had a criminal relative who robbed banks in Oklahoma . Scott, this just has to be the guy ! I’m shocked . What are the chances . I don’t know if this lady I worked with is still alive . That was over 40 years ago now . She was in her fifties . I’m floored 😮

I saw that mummy at the Long Beach "New Pike" pier back in the late '70s. He was in a ride similar to "Mr. Toad" at Disneyland. The little man was covered with florescent paint at the end of the ride. A few weeks later, they were filming I think "The Six Million Dollar Man" there and it fell down and found to be a mummy. It was all over the local news. Shortly thereafter, they demolished the pier. 😅

I was born and raised in Orange County, CA. My family and I would go to the Pike on the weekends for something to do. A few years before they tore down the Pike it became a very , very rough part of Long Beach. Not really a good place to be when the sun went down. And the daytime wasn't much better. They have filmed countless tv shows and movies at the Pike.
@dtnaАй бұрын
I remember seeing an old episode of Mannix filmed there. They also used Pacific Ocean Park. But I don't remember very much about POP.

Born and raised and still live in OC (Anaheim). I like going to the Pike in LB. I’m probably much younger than you (32) but the Pike is still around. It’s got new restaurants and a ferris wheel. So yeah the Pike is still around but revamped
@lilorbielilorbie2496Ай бұрын
@@thehapagirl92 I'm 66. So the Pike that you are talking about. Is Nothing at all like the one that I grew up with. When they tore down the OG Pike the land sat empty for several years.
@lilorbielilorbie2496Ай бұрын
@@dtna Pacific Ocean Park is also known as the Santa Monica Pier. It used to go farther out into Santa Monica Bay than it does now. It had it's own boat marina at the very end were you could drive on the pier and they had a crane that would lift your boat off the trailer and set it into the ocean. The winter storms and a fire in May of 1970 have helped to make it shorter and shorter. When I was a Union Pile Driver/Welder. I worked on fixing the pier two different times. The first time while I was working there. They were filming a episode of the tv show Simon & Simon. Somewhere I've got a crew member's cap that they gave us.

Damn, I knew this story sounded familiar. They showcased this story on an episode of Autopsy(HBO TV Series) and on Forensic Files too I believe, crazy that his mummified corpse was used as a prop in a Fun House among other things before that. I think they used real corpses for Poltergeist(1982) as well, saw that episode of E! True Hollywood Story: The Curse of Poltergeist where they mentioned something about that they used actual corpses. Thank you for this instant classic of a video Mr. On Tape
