Jin definitely has a soft spot for jungkook. During their pre-debut years he would literally buy jungkook meals all the time, pack his lunch for school, drive him to school and one time when jungkook was really homesick and considering leaving (way back in the pre-debut days again) jin took him over to dinner at his place with his family to make him feel comfortable and have that warm loving family feeling that kook was missing. Jin truly takes care of him like a little brother and loves to joke around with him. Whenever you see these two together, they're always up to something crazy. It's obvious jin takes on the eldest role extremely well for all of the members.

True, they’re really close. I feel like with jk everyone has a bond with him, he joined first from the maknaes and bonded with the eldest hyungs well, with suga/rm/jhope/suga taking care of him- and then also with jimin and v when they joined since they were younger.

jin obviously loves and oddly looks up to jungkook a lot and jungkook indulges jin a lot and treats him like a friend rather than a hyung which jin loves, their relationship is so different than the typical oldest youngest. jungkook is just the apple of everyone’s eye and makes everyone feel loved in the way they need to. he’s everyone’s favorite 🥹

What's interesting is that Jin is actually the youngest in his family - he has one older, married brother. That means that he was the youngest, from a decently well-off family (if I'm not wrong) and as soon as he joined BTS, he had to be their older brother, take care of them, cook for them, etc from the get-go in pretty harsh rookie conditions while learning to sing and dance from zero. Jin is actually so underrated, and I have so much respect for him, his work ethic, and his perseverance. The fact that he was incredibly shy at the start, and now acts as the ice breaker in situations his members are uncomfortable in just to make them feel better is so incredibly telling. There's actually an old interview somewhere where Jin says he wants to be an Older Brother that his members aren't afraid to go to with their troubles, and in a society where being the oldest gives grants you the most authority and respect in a group, that was practically unheard of at the time. Ugh BTS gives me hope about humanity, they really do. XD

@@heathercampos1938 Of course I don't mean Jin's underrated within the ARMY fandom, he is literally irreplaceable as a vocalist, and as member, and just an overall amazing person. He is incredibly kind-hearted, hard-working and funny, and ARMY appreciates the hell out of him!! His achievements are plenty, and he is so freaking humble, we love him loads!! I just mean that he is often underrated by people who don't know BTS well - reactors and the like. There's so much more to him than just his incredible vocals and frankly adorable comedic timing. There's just so much depth to him that I'd like people to actually understand, just like all the other wonderful members. Speaking of, who else is absolutely blown away by Jirisan OST!!!! xxxx

I LOVE Jinkook!! They are always goofing around, esp during photo shoots etc because I think they both get bored tbh lol. I think they are the two funniest in BTS, Jin's humor is a bit more slapstick but yeah. My favorite part of Jinkook though is how much they really do care for each other....Jin used to take Jk to school, and showed him around Seoul when Jk first arrived and was really missing his family. Jin is such a caring older brother to them all, really.....but it seems to me he has a special bond with Jk. And btw I have you seen the Taekook handshake? They are another fantastic duo !! :)

Jin does have an older brother. So he is the youngest at home. Jin & JK are the younger siblings in their homes that's why they gel together. Jin has alot of warmth & love for JK being the youngest & he did take care of JK when he was schooling so did Yoongi. When I got into BTS I just fell for JK. I watched alot of videos & if you really want to know the boys see them with JK. They are awesome brothers & they really care for the little one. Till date nothing has changed. JK with all of them is a blessing to watch. He is blessed with good people around him. I just love to watch any of them with JK. Adorable. Jin is super supportive to all he is an Angel. Most positive for sure.

I think Jungkook acts like a kid sometimes to help his hyungs feel at ease. I remember in one of the interviews that they were in, RM said that the greatest pain for JK was seeing his hyungs in pain. Whenever they're playful with each other, especially Jin and JK, I think it relieves any stress or worry that they might be bearing. Also, Jin knows how to balance being an adult with being a playful person. He's responsible but always knows when to add humor to the situation.

I often wonder where I would be RN had I not gotten into BTS. My favorite part of my days are to watch the love and craziness between the members. If I'm being honest with myself I think its because I don't have any close relationships. Not even with my parents, not anymore. So it makes me happy to see people who have formed such closeness that even if they aren't related by blood, they are family. BTS mostly fills the void I have in myself. I mean because of them I have a huge family now. An Army family. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
