Actually digging straight down is an accepted strategy in speedrunning as it is the fastest way to get down if there isn't a cave already there.

Legit question . I’m a legally blind non speedrunner. If I were to get into speedrunning, would the rules let me use visual accessibility mods (voice readers, magnifiers etc) to self accommodate? Or would they be seen as an unfair advantage? Do I have toshow medical proof of my sooper low vision to justify using visual aid mods?
