crucifixes only work if you drop them on the floor and they don't work during a hunt unless it is dropped before the hunt. Also if your flashlight starts to flicker it means the ghost is hunting. Hide in a room, don't talk, and turn off your flashlight when a hunt starts. There is usually a place or room where the ghost inhabits. You can find this room with the emf reader, the thermometer, with the ouija board that you can find in a random location.
