I’ve been watching since forever I think maybe since I was a freshman in highschool or even longer but I’m now in college and my family and I just got our first little chickens and I now have some knowledge thanks to y’all ❤

I have a guinea roo who is a huge jerkwad. The only reason he's not dumpling soup and flyfishing lures is because he makes pretty babies. When he starts chasing subordinate hens out of the coop and away from food, he gets the glasses. Settles his fricassee right down. I swear by them. A farmer near me was selling off his guineas so I acquied 6 hens and another handsome roo; the flock acclimated nicely but my 2 boss hens needed the glasses due to bullying the newest, smallest hen. That's a no-go. Six weeks later everyone is happy, or as happy as those feathered balls of rage can be. 🙂

The blinders work amazingly. I have white leghorns that would peck. Put these on and that was the end of that. And, it never gets old. You will laugh every time you see them.

Thing I've learned from raising chicken is not to put anything on chicken neck like rope or that arm in video it will make them walk backwards.

I have one Sapphire splash in my flock of 15 with a bare back that started 4 months ago. It’s a pain to stay on top of it. I’ve used blu-kote, peck no more blue sticky goo, hen healer, silver honey, permethrin dip in case it was mites. I quarantined for a few weeks and added protein , rooster booster, ACV and fresh greens for everyone. I’m pretty sure she’s doing it to herself.

I use this blinders for hen/roosters that bully others. They work great! Just keep an eye, if you remove them, because some times hens/roosters just go back to the same habit. 🥺

Fun fact: if a rooster has something tight on its neck like a belt to stop the crowing the rooster with put its head right down and run backwards until the rooster hits a wall

Easter eggers are aggressive blood chicken their females fight each other which is not normal in other breeds. I have 4 here in Pakistan our chickens have less feathers ( thin layer of feathers) maybe bcz of region climate. I can't keep them together bcz they attack neck that can be deadly 🤷 make a video on how to make them friendly please. (Sorry for my bad grammar)

You can add calcium, greed and some salt to the diet... Sometime it works... When birds did not get proper calcium and salt from their diet they the try to get it from other birds blood...
