The Fury of Colorblind Jigsawing

I'm really good at jigsaw puzzles. 8-piece, 12-piece, even 16-piece. But is that normal? Are colorblind people good at jigsaws? My wife and I have a bunch of competitions to see whether it pays to be colorblind or colornormal, plus I reveal what I consider to be the most colorblind friendly jigsaw.

Try testing colournormals viewing puzzles through a colourblind simulator lamp - all you need is pure blue and green LEDs only and everyone will become a protan

When I was solving a playbill jigsaw puzzle I was able to solve the solid yellow borders around all the separate playbills (if you wanna get an idea of what I’m talking about just looking up playbill jigsaw. It’s the most common one), but when it came to figuring out which colored piece went to which playbill I couldn’t manage it for the life of me. I do generally hate jigsaws, but it passed some time early quarantine.

They should make puzzles specifically for people with color deficiencies, like alternate between confusion colors piece by piece so it looks “normal” to them, but normies would have no clue what was going on 😂
