The CLS is a gem. Both the first and second generation are beautiful but there’s something about the first gen C219 that really stands out. The body lines are much smoother and softer but the front end is also aggressive with those headlights. And even more aggressive rear if you have a 55 or 63 AMG with those quad exhausts. I can’t wait to pick up my 2007 CLS63.

Its my first car, and since then i never even thought of getting any other. Have driven it more than 4.5k miles and still no intention to even upgrade to next gen CLS. White color, beige interiors, 5spoke rims, no tint, its a masterpiece from mercedes and still people roll down their window to have a look when im at red light

I have this cls but not the amg, got me the cls 350 cuz i dont want it to deal with the airmatic, but still beautifull shape and lines and that v6 does pull too

I`m not sure about the leather on a dash and on door tops as for example the dash on CLS grand edition has leatherette - imitation of leather.

@@Wha_SAABtypical comment. w211 in amg form looks amazing. Cls does also. Both e/cls looks old without the amg package. I drove both and i picked e55 . U cannot go wrong with either

@@uzzle21 fair enough. As long as you have the m113k, you can’t go wrong. When it comes to looks though, I think the CLS definitely wins in the road presence department due to modern and timeless styling. The E55 has more of a dated styling in 2023. When it comes to practicality, the E55 has more space and can seat 5. Although the CLS isn’t that bad in the practicality department either. Depends on what you’re looking for. Both brilliant automobiles.

@@Wha_SAAB Yes. when i drove cls the windows were short. Gave you some blind spots but it felt sporty. E class feels sporty also. seats are good and snug, if you a lip to the bumper and some other cosmetic stuff it looks really good. still the best looking E class in my opinion.
