My one worry about the kings is are they the bulls from a couple years back. They went all in trading a first for derozan who overperforms like huerter did. Fox is like Lavine. Williams Keegan Murray. Similarities are definitely there. Even trading for sabonis like they traded for vucevic. I just hope they haven't gone all in on making it one year then fall apart cause the framework to fall apart after only one good year like the bulls did is definitely there. I remember the reaction to the sabonis Halliburton trade being yes they've raised their floor but not their ceiling. Feel like we've forgotten that tbh.

Keegan Murray has a higher upside than Williams and Fox is a better player IQ wise AND a better leader than Lavine. Huerter could’ve performed better in the playoffs but that comes with discipline and time. Sabonis worries me because he’s not the best offensively and he’s pretty bad defensively. I think their defense would flow better if they had a shot blocking big instead of Domas. All in all, I’d say the Kings are better off than the Bulls especially considering the culture in Sac town.

What if this version of Keegan is him as a player? I'd say they are extremely similar players and with the time, next year is his 7th season. How much time does he need? What culture? They've been losers for the last 20 years lmao

@@paultizzard2864 Keegan is a capable defender, great 3 point shooter with decent awareness and IQ. He can become an even greater 3&D forward as the years go on. His rookie season was good. By culture I’m referring to them hopefully continuing the pace they started this year alongside coach Brown. Winning culture has to start somewhere and this could be the beginning they needed. Huerter is still young. Their core is basically young and have a lot of room for improvement. I mean they even took Warriors to 7. Coaching plays a major part in a winning culture. Bulls haven’t won since MJ despite drafting and acquiring great players like Lauri and a stud in Jimmy. Gotta give it some time.

The reason you’re losing so many games in the sim is probably because sim difficulty is too high. Having the sim difficulty at like 51-53 is way more realistic. If you’re rebuilding team that wants to tank I’ll say 56 or higher.
