Hey Eric, this is your Dad. I did some due diligence on the iodine advice and I am on it with selenium and magnesium gradually increasing the drops every day. So thanks for your insight. At 82 I’m definitely feeling better. You are right your German Oma was low carb and loved seafood. I also believe there are thousands of well intentioned medical professionals out there. We just have to be very careful and do our own due diligence and take responsibility for our own well informed health decisions and you are certainly helping us to do that. As a fellow shoreline condo owner I pay a lot of money to our AOAO to engineer and maintain our seawall and am sad to hear that process is being hindered by the very state government that should be focused on keeping us safe. I am glad we got a strong seawall in beforehand. Wonderful notes Dad! I am so glad to follow your son's story. We can use much of what he has shared in our own localities. My uncle built 49 of the homes in Paradise, CA and, by God's grace, my aunt and cousins had all moved out by the time of the Paradise fire. One cousin had just moved the year previously. I use J Crows Lugols Iodine. 25 to 50 Milligrams a day and SelenoExcell Selenium 200 to 1000 Micrograms daily and 5 to 10 Milligram s of Lihium Orotate. I went to Oahu almost 50 years ago and stayed a couple months. I took a walkabout and camped through the interior of the island ending up on top of the Pali looking down at a town below. It was 4 days across and back, One of the greatest adventures of my life. Wild boar, guava forests, streams and then the air force or army jet passing by close enough to see the pilot doing 'nap of the earth'. Go to Hawaii, folks and do your best to become kamaʻāina.

I have the hardest time believing in the carnivore only diet. As humans, we were not made to eat only animal flesh. Our teeth are proof that we are herbivores so I just don't know that, as God created us this way, that turning myself into a carnivore, is healthy for in the long run. I guess my question would be, is this diet supose to be short term or are your plans to eat a carnivorous diet going to be for the rest of your lives?
