I remember the first video I saw for JttM. When the Patreon call went out, I decided that eight bucks a month wasn't too much to give to a really interesting-looking channel, especially with ASMR Hank Green on offer. Since then, I've had some fun, made some puns (mostly bad ones, but are there _really_ any "good" ones?), and- most importantly- learned a thing or two about this fascinating world that exists literally under my nose (and inside it, for that matter). And now we come to the end of an era- a small one, to be sure, but no less impactful for it. As I see my name overlaid upon an image of a little tardigrade clambering around inside a bubble, I think to myself, "I helped make this." It's a nice feeling.
