Excellent video. Would it worked with in camera flash ? like using the camera hot shoe?

How much did you set "Adjust Syncro Flash" in the camera? I use them in combination with Godox speedlight but based on the shutter speed I have to increase or decrease that value. advice?

Jiggie, this is easily the best video that shows what the A9III is capable of for outdoor portrait work. I feel like everyone is shying away from this camera due to MPs and ISO, I don't get it. This camera is a game changer for portrait work.

as a beginner who sometimes only uses the built in flash from the a6400, i can say that i understood absolutely nothing about this hahaha. but still it was a treat to watch both of you. ingat po stay hydrated baka ma-heat stroke 😆

It is coming soon to Canon. No need to switch lol

I don't see Canon making a global shutter in the next two years. They are years behind Sony in sensor technology. Sony *might* make this sensor available to Nikon at some point, but I doubt that will happen anytime soon, either.

What an amazing feature! Before, a more powerful flash was needed in this harsh light. I hope Canon adds this to their cameras. Thanks for the explanation and examples.

great tuto. I would be very interested with tutos on event photography using on-camera flash with a a7rv+new hvl-f60rm2 with diffusers. There is a stupid magnet inside that flash incompatible with magmod V2 system (zooming enabled...)

I'm confused, I'm sorry, if you use a setting of 1/80.000, F/1.8 and low flash power. Can I use this camera with a flash at low-light events, such as weddings or dance floors? I'd like videos of these situations.
@thomastuorto992911 ай бұрын
You can't do this without a global shutter? And I guess I'm asking, wide open? Thanks for the vid, looking forward to the next.

@@JiggieAlejandrinowhoa, it's too expensive and I think it's not available in PH. I'm not sure if the 250 base ISO and 1/16000 limit for F1.4 is an artificial limitations. Maybe those limit will be removed on their next flagship Camera.

@joliver4083 it’s available in the Philippines via CMJ (Lightroom corp)

@@JiggieAlejandrino actually no it can't do it at T1 either it says T5 in the specs.
@kylewist774511 ай бұрын
This is not possible, because of a fundamental misunderstand flash "power." Increasing flash power does not increase the flash intensity, but it's duration. If you raise the flash power such that it's duration is longer than the shutter speed, there will be no gain to exposure. That extra light is cut off and lost.
@mikegustafson667911 ай бұрын
what about the noise?
@denizahmet229911 ай бұрын
So with the Sony speedlights you're limited to 1/128 flash power if you want to use all shutter speeds up to 1/80000. 1/64 power at 1/32000 , 1/32 at 1/16000 etc. Shooting through an umbrella at 1/128 power is the impressive part. However, your wife was in the shade for these shots, can we see a situation with her in the sun and what's achievable there please. Also, what about TTL.

It’s been there already with Hasselblad as the Hasselblad cameras have leaf shutter in the lens instead of the camera body and now Sony is continuing with it.

I'm hardly excited with a base ISO of 200. That's like a 20yr old DSLR. There's always a trade off with a new technology and as of now it has a higher base ISO and less dynamic range. There's no such thing as a free lunch. You want unlimited sync speed invest in anything with a leaf shutter.

Game changer indeed. No need to bring big lights to overcome the sun when you don’t waste flash power on HSS
@jonathaborzicchi62129 ай бұрын
there are many system who use power sync or high speed technology who overpower the sun. I stil use my cactus v611 trigger and overpower sun with any flash any system. with this camera you have 250 native iso , and limited to 1/16000 2,8 you cannot go 1,4 with faster speed than 16000, so at tend you need probably filter. in addiction at faster speed you will econtunter giant problem due to flash not fast enough. at this point much better power sync which work at full power on any flash and simply use the slow flash duration to expose all the frame. contrary with a normal flash sync and 1/80000 speed duration of shitter there is any flash who can cope with it, I mean flash that don't cost 50000 dollar). so is not agame changer in any regard,
