Sorry, dear subscribers, that I have not posted anything in a while, but I hope this will make up for it. The trouble is these animations take a very long time to make. This is a compilation of six clips depicting various types of future space technology. The Stanford Torus (space colony) scene alone took well over two months to create. The six clips depict:
1. Asteroid mining
2. Venus cloud habitats
3. A space elevator
4. A type of space colony called a Stanford Torus
5. A terraforming station on Mars, and
6. Starships from Earth arriving at an alien planet.
All work was created in Blender on Linux, and rendered on two graphics cards. Music is by the AWESOME Utho Riley (uthoriley.com), with extra music and sound effects from ProductionCrate.com.
Most of the modeling was done by my but a small part of it is kitbash.
