If there’s a chance for a Knuckles s2, I think I good idea for a premise would be Knuckles looking the Chaos Emeralds after the events of Sonic 3 that could’ve possibly left them scattered throughout the world. He could meet characters like Rouge or maybe come to find that Shadow has one. I think Knuckles and Shadow have the potential to be a great duo on screen

If this happens, let's hope that characters like Team Chaotix and Tikal appears too, and we get more lore of the games, like the TRUE nature of the Echidnas (so, the deified way that Knuckles sees them is shattered, which could give him enormous opportunities for character development) and their persecution of the chaos (in which they could have Chaos as the main antagonist of the 2nd Season)!

I genuinely liked this idea. It would make a wonderful continuation from the events of Sonic the Hedgehog 3 and improve its qualities on character development and writing than the first season. I also think you could easily add Team Chaotix in a detective-style subplot. Tikal would be an exceptional addition, given that she's the daughter of Pachacamac (from Knuckles S1).

Kimiko's worked with both Ben Schwartz AND James Marsden before.

Sonic 4 is definitely hinting at time travel being a focus (as it was apart of the initial Sonic 3 plot before reworking it), so I can see it being an adaptation of CD with Terminator elements. I can also see, if they go down the time travel route, introducing Silver as a mid-credits character tease (or he can be a surprise addition, like Knuckles was to Sonic 2). So Sonic 4’s new characters should be Amy, Metal Sonic, and (possibly) Silver (and maybe a Blaze cameo); with Shadow not appearing and should be relegated to his own spin-off show/movie.

A Shadow and Stone spinoff sounds like a great idea! However, if there were to be a Shadow spinoff, I believe a movie would be much better than a series. Shadow is very recognizable to the general audience, similar to Sonic. Knuckles isn't as well-known in comparison, so a theatrical movie about him might not perform well financially. Hence why he got a show instead. Shadow, on the other hand, has significant recognition and even has his own game. Therefore, I think a movie adaptation of his game, featuring Black Doom, would be perfect!

Regarding Blaze the Cat, according to Ian Flynn, he was told by Sonic Team that Blaze is originally and currently resides in the Sol Dimension. Furthermore, Sonic Rush Adventure proves such since that game takes place right after 06.

I honestly don't know how the 4th movie can be any better than the 3rd. Sonic 3 was everything a Sonic fan could've asked for. The action sequences, the fun character interactions, the emotional story, the sense of adventure, the character arcs (particularly Sonic and Shadow's), the scenes of Jim Carrey being Jim Carrey, and even the nostalgia from the movie being based on Sonic Adventure 2, one of the most influential games in the franchise. I have a strong feeling that Sonic 3 marks the peak of the Sonic movies, and that's not a bad thing imo because Sonic 3 was a wonderful film.

Agent Stone and Shadow is a perfect match. The whole idea of Team Dark is that they're a ragtag group of not-quite-heroic people joining together for their own reasons, and Stone is already pretty morally gray. Not to mention, both Shadow and Stone are pretty aimless by the end of 3. They're two fugitives with no home or idea of what to do with their lives.

Hey, just one thing: could you link those Amy artworks you used? It said creators names but not where to find’em, I’d like to see them in full. Also, btw, while I’d watch a Shadow show if it had Stone in it all the same, I really don’t see them not giving Shadow team dark, at least if they don’t wanna give him a black arms arc *first* . It might sound overly hopeful, but I do remember Jeff Fowler (or someone on the team anyway) say something last year along the lines of “the universe will only get more grandiose from here, higher stakes lots of characters particularly”, so I’m thinking off of that anyway. Ofc this is only so _if_ he has any show at all, if his next appearance is in one of the next movies themselves, I think a team dark genesis is too big to fit in as a B plot of another story, Shadow will simply come back in that case. All that _and_ what happens with him next is ENTIRELY down to whether they go for the amnesia approach or not. It’d be refreshing to not have it for a change, and instead actually a scenario where he’d see Sonic of all people as the only one he’d consider a friend (not that he’d make it look like that ofc) Just one last thing, regarding Eggman; whilst it is true it’s entirely possible this was it for him, as the writers confirmed they made sure it was that way, they also already said in an interview since the movie, that yeah, IF Jim says he’s up for doing it, they _will_ bring him back in, like yeah we made sure this is an ending for him UNLESS Jim’s willing, as long as he is he’s welcome, which is fine with me either way personally.

It’s important to remember, in the games, Shadow and Team Dark operate more as, free agents. For GUN, and other organizations. The only reason he’d work off and on with GUN is to keep tabs on them. Rogue is a spy always looking for jewels and any intel that grants her some insurance if she gets in a bind. She’s a bit like Catwoman. On her own side, but fights for good or bad when it suits her. As for GUN, if Shadow and Stone took them down, I could see Shadow and Team Dark keeping an eye on a new GUN that resurfaces with a new leader if Paramount and Sega wanted to keep the organization as a factor. While I would like to see Eggman Nega (since he’s more of a nemesis to Blaze and Silver), it feels more likely that Silver and Blaze will appear at some point. Maybe not now, but probably next time travel is involved.

I think it is more likely that Shadow will get a whole spin off movie based on Shadow 05, Knuckles is super popular, don't get me wrong but he is nothing compared to Shadow, characters like Knuckles, Tails, Amy, and other characters are not popular enough compared to Sonic to bring non hardcore Sonic fans to the Movies so full on movies about those characters won't do well at the box office, but Shadow is some ways more popular than Sonic and could easily solo the box office, at the very least it would make more money than Sonic 2

I think another way for Eggman to return without ruining his character arc is bringing him back a s Mr. Tinker from the IDW comics. I feel Mr. Tinker will fit well with how his redemption arc had ended. Also, Mr. Tinker did make his debut in a Neo Metal Sonic storyline so it is possible they could bring him in the movie universe.

Tbh, I think Stone probably made Metal Sonic or Eggman had some sort of AI that made Metal Sonic for him during the events of Sonic 3. I mean, he must've put that quill Sonic gave him somewhere and he likely hid it from Gerald, and you make the comparison to the Androids from Dragon Ball, so like Cell who was being grown by the computer despite Gero's passing I'd imagine Metal Sonic is being made in a lab somewhere. I think Stone is very clearly set up and written to become a cunning villain and his goal like Eggman is world domination. Carrey can't keep coming back forever so I think he is more than a suitable character to make Metal.

if we're talking future, I can see only three more movies, four, if I'm being generous honestly 4 obviously gonna be Amy and Metal a Shadow spin off that features Black Doom, Rouge, and Omega 5 featuring Silver and possibly Mephiles and a 6 featuring Blaze and Eggman Nega in my opinion, since their wouldn't be that many major stories to tell that can fit the Movie Universe's World and would feel played out like the Transformers series, but who knows, we'll see in 2027, honestly want the Movie Universe to have a proper conclusion rather than ending on a Unsatisfying Cliffhanger

I’m gonna be honest, Eggman did get his hands on Sonic’s quill very early in the Sonic 1 and he had tech that was no different from Metal Sonic in Sonic 3. The time that Metal Sonic was made was definitely long before his depression and long before his faked death in Sonic 2. I mean, Big Arms, right? He did become one with Master Emerald and created Big Arms out of a train and so many other materials from buildings and G.U.N.’s Military weapons and vehicles. And Sonic 3 definitely showed that Eggman had way more in his disposal that could’ve used against Sonic and his team, but he grew tired of losing to him. And so he had to meet an old relative that he never knew was even alive.

your theory is good, however I would say another theory that could work is gun themselves building metal sonic with no help. since sonic kind of has a bit of a problem with gun right now since the London incident and nothing was resolved maybe they plan on building metal sonic to frame sonic for metal sonics crimes so we get that missing part from sa2 but with metal sonic. but eventually metal sonic will turn on gun himself and attempt to turn into the metal overlord

@@dynamicyouthtube But, G.U.N. is looked at just as suspicious as Gerald and Ivo Robotnik. So, G.U.N. is clearly out of the picture after they have failed multiple times to prevent danger to happen to human civilians and civilization across the globe. And Eggman's (Ivo) robots were used as cover up for Gerald to get to G.U.N. and of course bring attention to his grandson Eggman. G.U.N. is funded by the government and so funds had definitely been cut especially after what happened 50 years ago. So, trying to use any of Gerald's technologies was definitely out of the question and way too costly for both G.U.N. and the governments across the globe. It means that only the Robotniks were able to use both Sonic's and Shadow's quills to go after Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and Shadow now that Gerald Robotnik died. But that is not the case for Eggman. He is still alive thanks to Shadow. Although, we do only see Shadow appearing to pick up one of his Inhibiter Rings and multiple Metal Sonics and Amy at the end of 3, Shadow Androids were also in the making with Metal Sonic and that will cause trouble for Sonic and his team, Shadow, Eggman and planet Earth unless they can take everything going on very fast on Earth to the other worlds. But Sonic and Co. have to figure out how to not spook the world into another global chaos like Space Colony Ark. But remember, Perfect Chaos happened on Earth and so getting that to work means world traveling is happening a lot and few things have to follow in Sonic's and Eggman's tracks through the Warp Rings. This means that aliens of all sorts are not where they are supposed to be and Sonic has to really take responsibility into his own hands, while learning how working alone doesn't make solving all problems any easier than teamwork. Sonic 4 is going to be a culmination of Sonic Adventure 1, Heroes, Shadow the Hedgehog (2005), Sonic 06 and maybe even Unleashed.

My own idea for a Shadow spin off him to find a new parous in life now that he's let go of his vengeance. All the while the Black Arms arrive on earth. It would bring in a few characters, chief among them Rouge & Omega, maybe some new characters, and characters from other parts from the Sonic Franchise.

A shadow movie were they introduce rouge and omega is a much better option than a tv series imo. Shadow has the pull, I believe, to justify a movie. They could even implement black doom as the antagonist. And since it is still not known how shadow was created, that leves room for a plot involving black doom. Rouge could steal the master emerald to help shadow become super 🤔

Ok I’m not hesitant on the idea of time travel but I feel like that should be saved for when they include Silver. The only way I think the story would work without Time travel is eggman making Metal Sonic prior to the events of the third movie and I feel like the big explosion from the eclipse canon would have something to do with Amy being there or like you said she can just be chilling on earth already and somehow finds out about Metal Sonic. This is just what I think I do think time travel would be cool but I also think it should be saved for Silver unless they surprise us and we see him in this movie. Sorry to make this really long but those are my thoughts.

Knowing Hollywood/Paramount (In a first instance) push so much for something “realistic”... I was deeply surprised by finally seeing the modern outfit for Eggman in Sonic 3. Now, Jim Carrey is becoming more and more Eggman with every movie, so I'm hopeful of seeing a full Eggman in the 4th. *BUT* to be honest, I'm BEGGING for an alternative timeline Eggman, because the sacrifice of Jim Carry Eggman has to beautiful for being minimize by a “Oh, somehow Eggman has returned”. If we supposed the director leave the “original” rest in peace, I'M VERY CURIOUS OF WHAT THEY ARE GONNA DO. Because “Dr. Robotnic N3g@” sounds weird and polemic (For say the least). Finally, in the original japanese manual of Sonic CD, the powers of Amy makes her... Basically a W1tch, specifically with the power of manipulating spiritual energy and divination by cards (This last thing is casually mentioned by sonic in Frontiers). So, this creates and explanation for her ability to move the hammer in the air. You know? These movies revived my taste and interest for this franchise. And the first Sonic game I played, was Sonic 2 (U.S. ver) at my innocent 4-5 years old in my sega drive. Alongside a Barney platformer and very old pixelated racing game.
