Tower of Fantasy has a solid, if not relatively linear trajectory: Every 4-6 weeks release a new patch, have new Waifu to spend money to obtain, make some balance adjustments, introduce some fun new game modes - which Tower of Fantasy is really good at by the way. And the odd region every 2 or so patches.
Earlier this year I would've said I didn't see much of a future for the game, but 2024 seems pretty bright. I don't think we're going to see a resurgence of popularity, but it's definitely going to remain relatively stable where it is. At least until Wuthering Waves or Mugen release.

The game's CN anniversary is December 16. and by then CN will be on patch 3.6/4.0? I think that 4.0 will be introduced for the anniversary of the game. because Aquaville which is the last zone of domain 9 will be introduced in 3.5 with the character of Brevey who is a volt + frost character the girl with the glasses who look like Sucrose which mean the end of a generation. Anime collab can be at anniversary December

i love tof especially for an mmorpg! if you’re into combat and variety, tof does a great job. i use to feel content droughts in the beginning but now i barely notice it and that’s made a huge difference in enjoying this game. don’t need to invest a lot to have fun. you’re either a whale or you’re not…that helps u budget your spending easily. definitely reccomend for anyone who hasn’t tried gacha games before. you don’t feel forced to spend money in this one. if you’re worried about starting in 2024, don’t….it’s the best time cause you’ll have a years worth of content that will give u a lot to do plus a whole lotta loot all at once to really make smarter pulls 😊

As a mmorpg player, ToF is quite terrible. The world looks and feels empty, the content in the game doesn’t really look fun. Most of it looks like just running around collecting stuff with little to nothing much to do out in the open world apart from world bosses. You don’t feel challenged until you reach very, very far into the game. That’s were my experience when I used to play it. Also there’s no player to player interaction apart from the chat system. As a gacha game, it is good. As a MMORPG, it is shit. I’d take WoW, FF14, Albion Online or even Black Desert Online over ToF any day.

@@dischickchris1 I was playing on Solaris NA, which was the most active server on release. It eventually died out. The game has improved a lot, but you said I should come back and try it again, but what am I coming back to? New characters? I don’t really care about other characters but the one I made, that’s how it is in every MMORPG. New maps? That’s fine, but what am I going to do in it other than running around collecting chests and world bosses, that I heard people don’t really do much of nowadays. Story? I don’t really care about story in MMORPGs. What about fun, challenging raids? Fun, challenging dungeons? PvP battlefield mode? Player to player interaction? Seasonal events with stuff to do in the open world, with its own event dungeon that is active until the event ends, with some event world bosses? That’s why I said, as a gacha game, it is good. Because gacha games usually lack meaningful content but I heard pity and all works well for players. But as a MMORPG, it is shit. In ToF, most people just log on for dailies then log off to play something else. Or if they have an account in another region, they will switch to that to do their dailies then log off

@@rambii. if you're saying solaris then you are not experience the NA server now vs back then when it was all separate. I was on solaris too and it's not like that anymore. And they are introducing new combat in the upcoming patches outside of the ones now. The new maps are very different but if you're not into exploring, I get that cause niether am I but I can appreciate the visuals that come with this grinding vs other games. If you're complaining about solaris then it's clear your perception of it is out of date. Go play the new maps and stuff then give some honest feedback vs doom posting if you haven't been on in a long time. It's definitely not dead and way more active now vs back when solaris was just solaris.

Give it a shot, especially if ya haven't played a gacha game before. The open world is beautiful and the game plays well. Nothing wrong with the game overall, but you're not gonna see anything new if it's not you're first gacha. Same daily grind for crystals/primogems/saint quartz/orundum/etc. that's in every other gacha.

there's no catch up mechanics, but it takes roughly 4 months to be competent enough for you to solo gear dungeon and world bosses at world lv 95. completely depends on what you roll for, and how many of it. though it's a mmorpg game, so you should be taking advantage of other people.

I started day one as well left near the end of nemesis banner too. I started playing again 3 weeks ago and tbh there’s a ton of returner rewards and events. Lots of free pulls now with so many new zones so it’s not too bad. Will still take time to catch up but lots of mats to help with that

22Gb in mobile. I also try dis again and I'm quite impressed they really did optimised for mobile very well. It run very good now with stable fps but the cutscene are still as hellish/laggy as ever tho, but if you don't mind the story ,I think you can actually enjoy it now especially since the drama for this game are all gone into Hoyo and Kuro. Tbh I actually enjoy this more today than those previous years😂.

combos are great, community is still active, and crews are pretty welcoming.. honestly you can still keep up w/ the weaponry as long as you stick to 1 main element... quest needs improvement but the weekly and monthly content cycle is actually pretty okay, and the challenge is there.

they are definitely there it is just that the world is big and there are not alot of people who play so finding another player is unlikely. BUT for raids and dungeons you will find other players. in the open world because of its scale it is rarer to find another wild player.

I was so hooked on gacha games, spent so much money on each one of these. But it sucked, I couldn't keep up with people who spend thousands or millions on them. Always felt left out knowing f2p players or dolphins dont get much love in most of these gacha. Some games are playable without blowing cash but you'd never get to feel as good as a whale without several years spent in one character off the small givebacks. I still love the idea of TOF even though their company is shady a'f. Can't blame a company for taking advantage of something that works I just wish it was more honest. I think genshins probably the closest to an honest gacha game but it's still gacha. For all of you saying you don't need to dump cash in, you're right. You can still enjoy them as is. It's just not really ideal in MY PERSPECTIVE. Quitting all the gacha games I've played, I think i spent a total of 5000 in the past 3 years and all I feel is regret.

Genshin is not close to an honest gacha. Please play star rail, blue archive that has a 6% pull rate every month and throws about 10 wishes at you every week, look at pgr if you want good combat on your phone, or the best one in my experience, honkai impact 3. These that I recommended are top end GAMES and not just gachas. I highly recommend starting with blue archive and hi3 tho. Those two alone have some of the better story writing and blue archive for me is number 1 because the writing is honest to God amazing and the comedy is the best of any gachas out

As a current PS5 player don’t let anyone tell you TOF is cheap…. Do the math and try your best to save resources. Specially your dark crystals. They have a new banner out and it’s fire and I can’t even get to soft pity yet cause I lack the dark crystals. I’m 55/80(soft pity guaranteed SSR) with a total of 55/120(hard pity SSR) To be honest only people who have some sort of endless bank account or support can afford to buy into TOF

@@pontoancora Why do care about power creep in genshin and star rail. they don't have Rankings and not even a mmo. It is just a single player game so power creep is not needed. People just buy because of waifu not because they need stronger weapon. You can beat the all single player content/ Story mode without spending on TOF. I guess you never played a MMORPG. because TOF is the only gacha mmo with BOTW gameplay. You only care about power creep when you care about Rankings or anxious that some player are stronger than you.

Even without multiplayer, you feel that your time building a character is pointless if in the next update they will release a character twice as strong. Why would I spend my crystals in this character, if they always have one more powerful coming? So yeah, powercreep sucks in any kind of game, and it's even worse when the game have pvp, and the characters need extra copies to be playable.

​@@pontoancora 3.0 chars on wards only need One copy to work. tof have pvp but it is balanced(all weapons equipped become 6 stars and all stats are the same). The only whale territory are bygone(floor 1-600, boundless floor no limit) and other rankings. You only care about power creep if you care about the meta and rankings. even one of the oldest mmo World of Warcraft has power creep.

This is my first impressions of the game so far and I'm probably not even halfway through the story yet but honestly I've been really enjoying myself. They have given me a ton of free spins and plenty of rewards for completing missions and the like. The characters are actually well designed imo and main character customization is pretty good. Being able to choose which character to be while using any 3 weapons instead of switching characters every time you switch weapons is appreciated. The story so far is pretty immersive. Is it like the best story ever? No but its still good so far. I think this is worth giving a fair shake

No. this game is garbage. I bought a AAA game and 1 week later I remembered that I hadn't played the tof, so I made the decision to uninstall it lol now I'm happy. By the way, I bought Baldurs Gate 3. 60 dollars the only payment for hundreds if not thousands of hours of entertainment that await me. Tof started out great, it was fun the first second month it came out but after that everything slowly went to shit. It was no longer a role-playing game, it was a game of who spends the most and that's not to mention the pathetic global chat and the enslavement of daily and weekly missions as if it were a fucking job.

I started a couple days ago. It lacks polish in some places for sure. The voice acting is pretty bad. The story is a mess. The combat is pretty fun though and I'll give them credit there's a lot of free pulls. Completely free to play I've reached pity once and gotten a couple SSRs from luck. Genshin got an amazing start as well which cannot be replicated(Covid) and earned billions or revenue that year, resulting in huge capital to invest in these amazing quality Music, Animations, Cross play etc, which players kept coming back for more and circulated most of that money. I doubt any start up game can do.

All servers in regions are one, even tho there are server names, it doesn't matter, they share the same server So all Europe servers are linked, all Asia servers are linked etc etc So servers are pretty much useless

i used to play SoulWorker that is Anime MMORPG for a long time, until ToF introduced, i ditch SW to ToF and still enjoy it till now, maybe i will ditch ToF when others Anime MMORPG come, i already lost hope for BlueProtocol but my wishlist now is Project:D from what i see, its DragonNest with more anime style graphic, DragonNest was best MMORPG in their era for me, until my server country shutdown, i don't think i want to start over again in other server

Honestly if you consider PC to it it would be way more because who is playing this on a phone? Tof runs like shit on a phone. It makes no sense. So I believe most people who play TOF (most I know of and talk to) are all playing it on PC. Considering this and looking at the number of Power in ranks people have I assume their income is enough to keep all going :)

Well we all know why Nikke is popular, ahem, physcis and shake. Proves that shit sells. Last few weeks I kinda dropped off from ToF, just log on to do dailies and use energy. I Barely do any world bosses, I missed last 3 weeks of raids, I havent even finished Void abyss, didnt finish OOW last season. Part of the reason is my crew kinda collaspts, and server merge. But I still like the open world aspect to the game. So i havent given up on it. My pulls for Meme were abysmal tho. I gave up at 3 stars after spending 350+ pulls. 1 from 4 pitties, not even 1 offpity. Breaks your heart, really does. I stopped before it got worse. Im a main support anyway, That was just to use with my Tian and Attack build Been insto Snowbreak and PGR alot more nodways, as well as my other games. I wish there were more open world games like ToF. Amazons BP can go F itself. I'd take Hotta/Level infinite over them anytime.

what they need to improve is the dodging system. You still get hit after dodging monster attacks. 😅😂

depends on type of attacks of the enemies. Some melees are fast and some are slow, while ranged ones, some are homing projections while others are like beams or lasers that launched straight lines. Also, some weapons also has s that can make you avoid homing attacks, while others grants "hyperbody" passive effects when you casts skills etc. I mean, there's alot of ways bruh
