I mean, if you wanna go with that argument one can argue that less final appearances = less losses. LeBron has 10 appearances, multiple faced off against a Warrior dynasty that became impossible to beat with KD and arguably the two best shooters in NBA history (splash brothers). At the end of the day, you can't argue who is better, because it all depends on which of their skill set you value and which era you consider to be harder. Everyone will have a different take on that, and that's the problem.

Next, “he’s the all time leading scorer.” Of course. This is when we hit the “new criteria,” aka things that never ever before were considered significant for any other player in any other sport until they became accomplishments of Lebron James. When Kareem was the all-time leading scorer, Lebron fans were still trying to argue Lebron over MJ. Just like how Emmitt Smith has been the leader in rushing yards and touchdowns for two decades and never shows up higher than 4 on anyone’s list of greatest running backs. He’s “one of the greatest passers in history” based oooooon? Cumulative stats? Figures. He’s one of the most athletic people ever” So was Bo Jackson. Then you go back to longevity aka cumulative stats aaaaand at least you end it with the only reason that’s “not questionable.” which is the 3-1 comeback which I also witnessed first hand but i dunno wtf does that have anything to do with it. So basically if Kobe has two reasons for GOAT contention that aren’t questionable, that puts him closer than Lebron. Unless you have some better reasons but somehow I doubt it

My whole life I’ve been a lebron fan as I was a kid when I started watching and I just loved him. He hadn’t won a single championship yet. I literally cannot wear his shoes, without someone shitting on me and claiming insane shit he wade, Kylie, Davis were actually the won the championship for him. I’m so sick of it.
