This story name drop some Star Trek concepts in a confusing way. Tellarians are a Star Trek race and co-founder of the Federation. The Orion Syndicate are a very powerful criminal organisation in Star Trek. We also have a alien civilizaion on Proxima Centauri. We are adapt at finding and study exo-planets now, by now we would have found that civilization. A character from the Star Wars setting are also name dropped as a general rather then as a Chancellor of the Galaxtic Republic in Star Wars. Bits and pieces. 😅

Maths is Hard but 30000 dived by 3 falling 15 meter = splat or maybe 1 alien ton is only 10kg

30 metric tons in 1/3 Earth gravity is effectively 10 metric tons, or 10,000 kilograms. 22,000 pounds. There's no mention of cybernetics, so the human would absolutely have been crushed, and that's not even accounting for momentum. This wasted 30 minutes of my life.

This is an example of what need to be updated for the story to work. Actually before she mentioned dinner I supposed that she was a robot. As such she would be humanity's exhibition piece but that work for a cyborg as well.
