Amazing video! The Argentinian stuff is fascinating, and seeing your Space Wars story is a blast!

Jiminy Christmas. I had those! Can't recall the color of my figures...but I do remember the starfighter being dual colored. Pretty sure my mom got them from the local neighborhood grocery. I had the rocket too!

I think I got mine at Woolworth, I had different sizes of these as well. Inhad a grey set that were bigger, like 3 and 3 quarter sized

I had these as a kid. I still have them today. I bought the reissues too. I love these. As a kid, I would make playsets out of cardboard and poster paper. Just a fun little set. I never had the large size Rocket Fighter/X-wing. I never knew of the story. That's really neat. I used the Chewbacca like character as a good guy. Having no back story made for imaginative play. A great time to be a kid. LOVE YOUR STORY! THAT IS FUN! My mother kept a lot of my stuff too. MOMS ARE GREAT!

I love the fixed figure videos. Love the play mixing we all did as kids. Great video. Live your old school project

I love this. I've always admired the small plastic spacemen of yesteryear, and so I was looking forward to the time I could sit down and watch this video. That piece of personal history at the end was the perfect conclusion. I didn't expect to see something like that at all, but it made me smile.

These are so cool! I loved playing with space figs like these and the classic "green army men"... you could get a bucket of them for pocket change.

I kept thinking that I had these figures before but wasn't sure how or when until you tied it all up with Anteojito and Argentina. That is where I am from and how I got them. Anteojito was an extremely popular magazine for kids and buying the issues would get you the toy attached to it. Thanks for jogging my memory! I loved them.

I got a set of these in the 90s. That were Purple, Blue, and green, they came as a box set with the mountain playset. Cool to finally know their origins, and see all the other color variations.

Awesome video and another interesting watch. Another toy line I have not heard off, but we have similar toy lines in the UK. I can't believe you have your school project work.....that is awesome.

There was another toy company that made big stationary figures of what looked like Flash Gordon characters in 1979.

I'm a long time subscriber and I've seen everything you have produced. This video is hands-down, my favorite. You incorporated a great deal of detail regarding the Timmie Toys and even gave us a special bonus toward the end. Great job!

Wow. I know those figures and spaceship... I have two of the astronauts whoich came with one of those Apollo rockets. Then I got the issues of the magazine "Anteojito" from Argentina which came with those figures, but unfortunately one of them didn't have the corresponding figures, so I was missing two of them. I don't have them any more, I traded them for some WW2 soldiers IIRC, but they were larger than the astronauts from the Apollo rocket (which I still have). The kid to whom I traded them had the larger figures too (did you say they were like 5" tall?) I do still have the spaceship (which was very obviously based on the F-16, as you say - I have it in my hands right now, it's been collecting dust on top of my bookshelf). I also have all the comic issues of "Ekatón", so let me scan them and I'll send you a link. Oh, and the original issues of Anteojito which came with them, too. BTW, each issue came with TWO plastic figures, not one (except the one which came with the spaceship and no figures instead) , that's why I was missing two of them when the issue they had at the newsstand didn't have them. My aunt was the one who bought them from me, since the magazines came from Argentina and I'm from Peru, not all newsstands had them, but the one near her home did.
