You're absolutely right about using these wonderful 'analog' objects we buy and love. I live on a bay and make it a practice to take my paints and notebooks down beside the water several times in my week after my chores are done and I need to relax for a bit. I'm retired now, and after 50 years in a high pressure job/s, I really value these quiet self-indulgent times. I'm so pleased you learned this before you were too old to enjoy it. Thank you.

I bought one for a friend in New England and it warped within days. Now it doesn’t seal and the strap won’t fit. Galen Leather won’t do anything about it.
