I'm in your camp, Bee. I am beyond happy for Miyazaki and the entire team at From. So deserved. Took the best parts of all of their games, refined them to perfection, and put it in a vast open world that was an absolute joy to explore. Well done, Miyazaki.

Super excited for Jedi Fallen Order looks like they were inspired by Breath of the Wild with the more open locations using mounts and creatures as gliders to get around compared to the more linear Guardian of the Galaxy style of level design of the first game. Also seems that we'll be going to Coruscant as well at least the under levels so more Urban city locations which is fun. I think you'd really enjoy Jedi Fallen Order just like Knights of the Old Republic even if you're not into the movies the games and animated shows along with the series do an amazing job at expanding the lore and diving deep into characters and conflicts. Overall it just looks like a really damn good sequel that adds so much new aspects. Idk why but I was thinking about how you're a Marvel fan but what if someone gifted you a Marvel Star Wars comic. Would you be like happy because it's Marvel but upset because it's Star Wars? Interesting set of emotions lol But yeah ever since 1977 Marvel has been making Star Wars comics up until 1986 but required them again in 2015. Reason I brought this up is because Jedi Survivor will have a tie in Novel that's set between Jedi Fallen Order and Jedi Survivor so that's really cool. This is pretty much what James Gunn what's to do for the DCU everything from games, comics, shows, and movies will be set in a shared universe. For example Clone Wars introduced the character of Saw Gerrera who went on to appear in Live Action in Rogue One and then in Video Game form in Jedi Fallen Order and last appeared in the Andor TV show. Seems like alot of planning but if Star Wars can pull it off so can DC and it's shared universe.

This years been a good year for games, in general all the choices were games I’d totally get winning, but no SIGNALIS and well that’s lame. God bless Xenoblade 3 nomination at least to give the flute guy his unique chance to shine!

I actually thought this would happen. It's like the inverse of what happened in 2018 with God of War and RDR2. It also makes sense, Elden Ring is a game that is great as an overall package but is less impressive if you want to break things down into individual categories.

Elden Ring won the most important ones: - Best Art Direction - Best RPG - Best Game Direction - Game of The Year Should probably had won Best Soundtrack because ER OST was eons beyond better than gow. So nah not rigged stay salty Sony fanboys.

Elden Ring dominated the first half of this year in terms of gaming. Literally no other game released this year even came close to having the same amount of impact as Elden Ring. Don't tell me you're a GoW fan who's blinded by recency bias...

Let's face it, Elden Ring and GoW are the only real competitors here, the others are just there to fill in the space. But let's also face it that it's clear since its release that Elden Ring's gonna win, I have no doubt in my mind at all. By accessibility alone Elden Ring wins because it got released on every platform, wider audience gets to play it, GoW only released on PS so the amount of players that gets to play pales in comparison. That's the first, second is the amount of time players can spend and play the game and enjoy its contents. Elden Ring was a bigger open world game with deeper gameplay mechanics and bigger contents, I see people played it and shared their in-game experiences for weeks, even months. GoW on the other hand, while the content is undeniably great, people are running out of content to play after 2-3 days, there's nothing to do except replaying it altogether, after you platinum it, the game is like completely empty, so again, it's pale in comparison against Elden Ring. I don't deny the quality of GoW, I loved it a lot, in fact I voted for GoW since I haven't played Elden Ring. But seeing how much people enjoy that game, and analyzing what the fuss is about, I can't deny its quality in the eyes of other people either.
