The Game Broke At 50,000 Humans in World Box

Then I set them on fire. I kept increasing the amount of creatures in my world until the game gave up entirely. To be fair it put up with a lot before calling it quits. There was initially about 6000 units that had to contend with fires, monsters, doom clouds, each other and more. Once the dominant colony appeared it was time to step it up. First we tried out 10,000 creatures and the game didn't seem to mind this. So we escalated and just kept spawning until something happened. It took over an hour of just spawning, but we found our breaking point. Once we had over 50,000 humans running around the game became unhappy. Once I set them on fire it became very unhappy. 7 Billion is nothing. Throw in a few more centuries of genetic research, robotic automation, a new power source (most likely widespread nuclear if fusion doesn't work out), a renewable source of oil via genetically modified bacteria vats (oil for industry/materials, not power - nuclear has power covered), next generation VR and/or brain implants to keep people happy... I'd say 7 Trillion is a pretty easy point to reach. Now, keeping 7 Trillion people from killing eachother, THAT'S the hard part... especially when a couple thousand of them are mining asteroids massive enough to wipe out all life on earth.

It’s wierd how zooming out and speeding things up in some games make them work faster, you (the game and sustem) dont have to render the stuff, etc but you still have to consider and calculate all the glitchy stuff. what? If you go to settings and spam the burger you can a developer cheat bar and you can speed up time very fast and you can spawn alot of creatures without using a macro
