The wheel hubs should be the same color as the fork tubes and the spoke nipples should be the same color as the frame...with the zinc plated spokes. That would look absolutely sick!

your videos help ppl work on bikes. i raced in early 2000s 2001 and 2002 we didn't have videos to watch ppl work on bikes. we had an owners manual for bikes. we didn't know how to clean or polish aluminum. we did top ends and pistons. huge fan of your show, haven't had a dirtbike for over 10 years just bought a 2005 yz250 as a project bike. i am learning a lot and enjoying it. My bike isnt for profit its for me lol. yz250 needs new head and bottom end all the other parts i am cleaning and doing cerakote.

Sick!! When COVID hit, I started to do some upgrades to my crf450r 2005. Some of the people I ride with have recently gotten new KTM/husky 350s, but instead of starting over and dropping all that coin on a new bike and knowing that 05-08 crf450r is still a capable bike, and Watching your videos, inspired me to take it to a new level “build”. Not to the extent like you tropically do, with all your refinishing or coatings of so many parts, but, a lot of parts and lots of work to make it all come together. Keep up the awesome work, and keep inspiring dudes like me!

Cam, your work is flawless. I entered to win the RM 250. I say it all the time that I would absolutely love to have that build done by you. I raced for Team F&S Suzuki 1997-1988 and qualified for Loretta Lynn's. Past injuries from my Iraq deployment has kept me off a bike but I'm getting my hip fixed and plan to to do the unthinkable after 20 years, and that is qualify for Loretta Lynn's 40 plus class. If I win your build, I WILL for sure shoot for LLs on it.

Two kids here and anyone who tells you that you have to give up your passions for kids is full of crap. There’s always time. You may have to spread the projects out over time and squeeze in the work between kids naps and bedtimes, but if it really matters to you then you don’t give it up you find that you share that passion with them as they grow.

Great episode Cam. Loved how the forks came up. I have just bought my next project bike, a 96 rm125 with the twin chamber conventional forks. However the surface on the outer fork tubes is pretty bad. I dont know if i can make them come up like yours. I might have to resort to vinyl coverings. I love your triple clamps too might have to look at doing that!
