I was at Arco Arena 1 the day we drafted Peja. I forgot about this gw. Bobby Jackson appearance as well. Great overall game. CP3 was more aggressive for his own scoring in these days, which I will say if he has any faults, he doesn't do that enuff today.

Man CP3 was on some incredible teams that came so close to winning a ring. The Clippers, Rockets and Suns. Even his New Orleans teams were just a star guard/small forward away from being a championship caliber team. CP3 is going to go down with Malone as the two players who came the closest to winning rings more times then anyone without actually winning one. Imagine how different we'd look at CP3 if David Stern hadn't nixed the Lakers trade and if he had won 1 or 2 rings with Kobe. Imagine how different we would look at Kobe right now as well if he had finished with 6 or 7 rings. There would be a lot more serious goat debates between him and MJ. I think Kobe is still #3 all time for most NBA fans, behind MJ and LeBron but he definitely got robbed of a ring with that CP3 trade. You pair Kobe, CP3, Dwight and Artest together and you got a team that could've won back to back. Dwight's time in LA would've been completely different with CP3 throwing him lobs and running pick & rolls with him non stop.

How do you define choker? Both Nash and Paul performs better in the postseason then the regular season. They were also unlucky with the injuries and suspensions that cost them a ring. Curry is known for his 3 rings without FMVP award. He was also lucky with the teams that derailed with injuries such as Memphis, Cavs, Houston, Spurs.

@@draspen Its interesting that you bring up Memphis. Their series vs Golden State never really gets talked about even though they had a legit chance to take them to 7 games. I know about the injuries with the other teams you mentioned, but what injuries was Memphis specifically dealing with? Im legitimately curious im not trying to bait or anything like that
