I like the tone taken in response to these criticisms. Humorous, but not overly aggressive. Jason Schreier actually is an active member of the jrpg scene. He might actually watch this video. I've listened to him on some podcasts I like. He has some good takes on gaming, but he definitely beats a political drum.

Jason Schreier is literally the DarkSydePhil of videogame journalists His takes never cease to amaze me in regards to how bad they are, I don't know how anyone on planet earth can take the guy seriously at this point. Funnily enough, I work in a store and I have had parents tell their kids to "go give the money to the lady at the cash register" only for me to start talking and they're in shock that I'm a bloke, is that sexism? No... but it's funny how people made that assumption. It's just pure coincidence, people have an image in their head based on numerous things that someone is going to be a certain gender and they're not. All it leads to is me joking about the whole conversation with the customer because it's a talking point and I don't know about you but at work I kill for the chance to have any talking points. Regardless, this is far from being the only bad take Jason Schreier has had, he is a joke of a games journalist to me, I have no idea how anyone can take anything he says seriously, the fact that he's still in the industry is baffling when he alienates so many people with his drivel.

No offense but the fact that there are vast amount of people who are into things that aren’t “objectively beautiful” literally means anything in that realm is subjective. For instance, I like crooked teeth dead ass its adorable, so to say straight teeth are “objectively better” is objectively wrong, since there’s a subjective element. I disagree with the journalists too but I’m gonna bail out now Mr Z see you on the next one.

Since the main subject matter was written roughly 10 years ago, I think may be a good idea to check if both writers still stand by it. Also it is unfair to use games that release WAY after the articles. Also when doing these types videos it is best to only shit on the idea and not on the person. See ya at your next video.
