Are you seeing anything on the frontlines where you? If so, where, and if not what's going on without all the patients. Where I'm from the hospitals are sending workers away because there is literally no reason for them to be there, and it seems like more than half the country is the same the way people talk. Genuinely asking.

@@DraconisSmith I work part time in the ER, and full time in a unit for the criminally insane. The unit I work at is constantly overrun by the virus because it is near impossible to try and keep unstable individuals for acting in the interest of themselves and others for the most part. So that is a constant battle and risk because it's a trickle effect rather than an all out wide infection because of measures we put in place, sometimes the best acts are ones that ensure safety but also prolong the effected risk. The ER I work at has a consistent influx, but it's generally those in the shielded category, those who are elderly, cancer patients etc... It has definitely reduced but the reason they are sending staff away is because they were precautionary staff. This doesn't mean the virus isn't still rampant it means the government put in effects in case of increased demand. So when you hear that staff are being let go you shouldn't assume that hospital staff are not busy fighting the virus.

I may be alone in this, but as soon as I saw the image of the alarmed woman being creeped by a skeleton, I thought, "Local Woman in Constant Terror of Ever-Lurking Patriarchal Oppression." I'm making this comment on a 4 month old video, so I don't expect many people to see it. However, just so you know I'm about to get up onto a personal soapbox so I can stop a certain line of argumentation before it gets going. If you don't want to get mired in socio-political jargon, I recommend that you don't read the rest of this, and hope that you have a nice day :) Here it goes: I am a woman, so I don't want to see any "sexist" or "misogynist" flak being hurled in the replies. I wouldn't want to see that if I were a man, either, but a certain segment of people will become incensed if they think a man is poking fun at feminists, but will be less confrontational (and more confused) if they know that person is a woman. Nor do I want to see in my replies the idiotic phrase "internalized misogyny." I am my own person, with my own agency, and my own thinking capacity, who has been asking questions since I learned to talk (about 9 or 10 months old, and yes, I can remember that far back), and doing extra-curricular research as soon as I could read fluently. I naturally push back on people who try to tell me what to think, so I'm extremely resistant to any kind of "brain-washing," which is the usual argument. I certainly don't hate myself, or my femininity. That's why I'm rather alarmed that a group which keeps trying to get women to act more like men would have the gall to say that a woman who desires to preserve femininity must internally hate it.
