I gotta give it a hard listen. I respected Nipsey's business hustle, vision and philanthropy in the hood but I haven't really heard anything from him that's moved me on a music level. Some dope production but his bars are basic from what I've heard. Still, am gonna give him more spins.
@lewisgilfillan92375 жыл бұрын
@@Israel-nb7ip Nipsey music touches everyone different. His music is motivation, I know what you saying buy regardless he was still one of the best in this decade. He was underrated, check out forever on some fly shit. Have to dig deep for the best tracks.
@Israel-nb7ip5 жыл бұрын
@@lewisgilfillan9237 no doubt. I recognize that people felt his hustle and grind. But I'm just talking music. He has some banging production and some quality hooks but I haven't been moved by anything he's actually spit, and I heard his shit going back to 2006. Maybe I'm just from a different generation where I put more emphasis on bars and rhyme schemes. He sounds the same as everyone else from this generation. But I'm gonna give that album a hard spin just to honor that brother since he was a man with his heart in the right place.

I remember the first time I saw Nipsey live. It was his first tour in Europe, Amsterdam. We were perhaps with 50 people, enjoying the pre show with some classics. At one moment, we saw Nipsey walkin in. Not through the backstage, not on the stage. He literally walked through the fans, stood there with us for a couple of minutes and looked high AF haha. He ripped the show a few minutes later. That’s a nice memory of Nip and I am grateful to have seen him grow since then. Rest In Peace brother

Agreed, knowledge is power. Nipsey understood that. I love reading and read every chance that I get. Good suggestion for books on tape/ audio books for Game. That might be the best way for Game to get into reading. Because different people can be different kinds of learners. There are people who are auditory learners (meaning that they have to hear the information and learn from verbal presentations), visual learners (meaning that they have to see it-so it could be in the form of images and graphics), kinesthetic learners(meaning that they need to be moving and that they learn best from carrying out physical activities). It sounds like Game is a visual learner when he talked about not being interested in books unless they have pictures in them. But no matter how they do it, as long as people are reading that's the most important thing. So, hopefully, Game will start reading more.
