Extremely underrated game. Definitely in my top 10 favorite games of all-time. I was straight up addicted to this game like five years ago. Replaying missions over and over to see how efficient I could become.

Splinter cell black list is the epitome of stealth. There is no game with better stealth mechanics or gameplay, and trust me i played just about every stealth game there is.

I agree I wish metal gear solid took some of the mechanics from this game it would of been perfect it's time for mgs to run on a new combat system they stuck in time they just had good graphics

I thought mgsv was the top tier in stealth. Now I’m excited to give this game a try

@@TFBlack-ix2cs mgsv really suffered from the open level design and the open world in general. Stealth is best when its close quarters and in doors. You can simply crawl past most enemies in mgsv and they wont see you. Really no challenge.

I'm so happy that Blacklist continues to finally get the recognition that it deserves. I have no doubt that had Michael Ironside be able to voice Sam Fisher, this game would've been hailed as Chaos Theory 2. Instead, it was practically boycotted by the community, because gamers are a bunch of stupid, whiny idiots that take zero time to find out facts first before complaining. I have thoroughly enjoyed Blacklist in the past 10 years, and STILL play it frequently (at least, as frequently as I can... I probably spend less than a week total playing video games per year these days).

The characters in Blacklist makes no sense. Kobin was a complete scumbag in Conviction and suddenly he becomes a comic relief in Blacklist. The most elite and clandestine agency in the US actually allows a criminal to co-pilot a plane. Don't get me wrong. The gameplay is great. I'm not going to even criticize the absence of Michael Ironside. The story is just average. They didn't bother following up on Megido that was mentioned in Conviction who was the complete mastermind of the whole blackout in DC.

Awful awful game. 7 different embassies get raided globally and Sam has to stop each one like an MMO daily. Or how the afghan drug lab is just a child size chemistry set of red, blue and green Loony Tunes beakers on a table in a house. Or a 50 year old grizzled Navy Seal using a karambit like an edgy teenager.
