Would love to hear you talk about blocking a little more in depth especially when you get to breaking down maps like hotel or embassy. Where you should position yourself to block, how to know know where they're spawning based on where teammates are on the map etc.

map awareness cant be taught. Its legit the "area on your mini map that your team mates triangles are NOT. thats the main area they will spawn. where ever your team ISNT. use mini map. its quite simple once you learn it. its all natural after.

so if a team mate pushes out too far they will spawn behind you guys etc its legit where your team ISNT on the map lol idk how else to explain it. like i said if you see a team mates triangle in that area of the mini map? they will NOT spawn there...now use that method x3 with the rest of the team!

Would love some in depth analysis on Control spawns and how to manipulate them, because I am always totally lost. Also, how to break and hold spawns more consistently in Hardpoint. Really eager for this series!

control spawns are always the same but you can make them spawn back left or right... thats it

how to break? play super slow for that ONE kill. trust. getting that ONE kill even if it takes 15 seconds is worth it

Seriously can NOT wait for more of these Rambo! There is a huge void in really good in depth CDL/Ranked play strategy videos. I would really love to even see a video or two about how to decide who should play what roles on a team. Like should your best player be the rotate or the soaker. etc. Thanks for the vids!

Its sort of up to who you play with and decide who is gonna do what, You sort of look at the map and see who is more favourable for a certain area if you have a AR you wanna watch a bigger area. If you have a SMG you wanna be inside/roaming about. like for example P2 on Hydro with my Mates I would sit over by the rock on ruins/broken the building on P4 and watch the flank and the middle. While one of my mates sits on the back of P2 on the heady at the side watching Dome then another sits on the the point and the 4th sits around dome at the bottom but moves about a bit more, its pretty much setup to watch all angles to prevent a break. Whislt also having it where you can have back up if you die. For example if my mate dies watching top dome where I am I have the cross towards the point to call out to my mate on the point someone is pushing if I dont kill them and I can also see top dome so I can kill someone if they are on top. If that helps you understand it a bit more. It is pretty much the same for every other point. Obviously as he said some points are hard to hold like P5/P3 as there are losts of areas for people to break from and spawns etc. Same as like P4/P1 on Al Bagra etc

I think one thing I will be interested in seeing is after the first few episodes breaking down the maps and the hills, maybe taking some in game scenarios that happen in the previous weeks matches and using those as talking points. Or even like a top 5 plays from the previous weeks matches but instead of it being flashy kill plays it’s like fundamental plays that win teams games.

Really great content for a basic understanding of hardpoint on hydro man, keep it up. I'd really like to up my understanding of the game and go really in depth so if I could suggest something for the next video if you could tell how to block and where players should position themselves to block spawns? also like an overview of strong setups to get full 60s out of hills would be amazing, like where players should be holding and power positions would be really helpful to a lot of people who have a basic understanding of the game but would like to understand the nuanced parts of it as well. Also, when you get to control, I'd really like to understand spawn manipulation and good setups for control as well. I know it would take longer to explain all of these things in a video but I would literally watch an hour long video if it was a comprehensive breakdown from start to finish of what the pro teams are doing to win these games. Thanks for all the educational vids I'm looking forward to them all!

Great information. I used to compete years ago , still got the gunskill managed to reach Crimson but lack so much knowledge on maps . This is a very good guide, would be nice to see more maps plus anchor positions which forces your team to spawn in the desired areas.

DUDE Rambo hell yeah man!! This is GREAT. Yes do like, everything. Really interested to hear your thoughts on lower tier Ranked strats where most of us are. Comms/teamwork isn’t a thing and controlling spawns, winning rotations doesn’t isn’t necessarily a winning role for ranking up. But even basics like practice techniques for winning gunfights, movement, cameraing, etc. Always good to hear those perspectives from pros. Good stuff Ray!

Tbh comms are there, u just have to use it. If no one's talking u be the guy giving info it will make your team better overall when they know dudes in the corner of the kitchen. And the best tip for low rank is really to go to next hardpoint around 15-20 second before so u can be waiting for the people who come in when they show where it is.
