I hear podcast all the time talking about the younger generation not caring about console exclusivity so bringing on the new gen to talk about it themselves is smart and a perspective you don’t get to see at all in other pods keep this up doc you got something.

When I go to buy/play a game one of the first things I look for is if the game is play anywhere. Being able to start a game on my Series X and to continue playing that same game on my PC still blows my mind. If the next Xbox is a hybrid PC/console then that’s a easy purchase for me or maybe if the Steam console rumours turn out to be true that may be the console that sits under my TV.

I stacked Gamepass till May 2026. So makes sense to play everything they dropped there. I’ll entertain what happens next when that runs out. I have started a Steam collection with Master Chief Collection and some other games.

So far right now it seems the best route for Xbox gamer would be get one of those handheld PCS that have the 32 GB of RAM such as the Lenovo legion go 2 or Lenovo legion Go s windows edition...

@Bawang-f9p sure but the PC gaming community is on Steam. Just like the console gaming community is on PS. Xbox doesn't have a lane. Selling games from the studios they bought on those platforms and stores is all they can do at this point.

Nobody cares how much you pay for game rentals but if I did, I can play Indy, Astro, Black Myth, Monster Hunter and everything else on Game Fly for $7... GP cant do all that. The superior service already exist and it gives you all the games across all platforms while GP is tied to just a handful of games on Xbox and PC. thats why nobody except the ones in the xbox ecosystem cares about GP

Would a parent really spend so much money for their kid or multiple kids for every game that playstation gets?🙄 Even if playstation does end up with more games i think a gamer will still be able to play more games on xbox through game pass without having to really spend so much
