Remove the worst leaves. 1/2 water half milk sprayed on all remaining surfaces in the sun apply every 2 to 3 days . Can use 1:5 H2O2 on a shady day. If you catch it early copper fungicide also helps.

Baking powder & a drop of dawn soap in a water bottle, does a fantastic job getting rid of powdery mildew, before it spreads. 😊

Hey! 💚You still have a lot of food growing from the summer, those harvest are looking good! I finally have germinated brassicas, beets, and arugula. On your last video, which I was late to, I was saying how NONE of my seeds had germinated, but I'm okay now. Coming off break I guess I was a little too eager. Looking forward to the season.🌱🥬🌰🥦😊

For powdery mildew, 1 part mouthwash to 3 parts water worked for me on my zucchini plants in the past . I put mine in a used chloroseptic sore throat spray bottle. Bonus: it smells refreshing! 🤣🤣🤣 I’ve also seen what @danarzechuka recommends but haven’t tried those mixtures.

What size is the tomato bed and how many tomato plants do you have planted in it? Trying to figure out how many I get away with in my raised bed next year 😂

Your tomato bed breach: fair bet that wasn't deer and it wasn't coyotes, either (don't laugh: I know your city has both and they will show up at the oddest times in the most unexpected neighborhoods.) My money's on squirrels, raccoons and/or rabbits. Squirrels, by the way, need only a 1.5" hole or opening to get from where they are to where you probably don't want them to be; mice, only a quarter-inch---or so I've read. *You got RAIN this past week?!?!* Dang! I can't recall the last summer (wait, yes I can: it was probably... No, I can't, after all.) I can't recall the last summer I spent this much time watering the garden/s if by garden/s we include the ornamental plantings at the front of the house. I never bother about the lawn, even when it goes are straw-like and crispy: grass always comes back. You got rain. I'm not jealous or envious, but my goodness, that stirs some powerful wishfulness in me.... Rain. We are supposed to have some rain tonight, and a bit tomorrow and again on Tuesday.... I'm doubting we'll get *enough* to correct the deficit, though. Around 20:00, Batavia, what is that wonderful-looking trough (sink?) you're washing your carrots in? And the carrots are looking awfully good! Much gardening love from Northeast Ohio! 😊💚💚💚💚💚😊

Heya Friend! So I’m pretty sure this video was pretty delayed in posting. Much of it was filmed around August 20th and then posted in September so the rain wasn’t from that prior week 😊 For the heat, it’s more of, I feel flush in the face like the heat is surrounding me but I immediately feel better once I’m in a cooler space. Ohhhh, one of my favorites. The trough like plastic tub is like this (this might not be the exact size). www.menards.com/main/building-materials/concrete-cement-masonry/concrete-accessories/shape-products-reg-all-purpose-tub/1891221/p-1444441873972-c-5642.htm TTYS! 💚

@@BBettaGarden But you did get rain, when we didn't. This has been a long "abnormally dry" spell for us here in NE Ohio, and the rest of the state is hurting a whole lot more than we are for want of rainfall. As I write this reply to your reply to my original comment, above, we *expected* rain from the outer-outer bands of the remnants of Hurricane Helene and I reckoned we'd get...a whacking great lot more than we did. helped the lawn a little bit, and because it doesn't need much rainfall the crabgrass quite a lot, but everything else.... Piffle-poofle. Trough-like tub looks to be longer than a cement-mixing trough, but I'll keep an eye out for one similar to yours which I think is very cool. We are supposed to be close to freezing, tonight, so I expect I'll be tossing fabric covers over the more tender stuff! HTHFYS! Much gardening love from Northeast Ohio! 😊💚💚💚💚💚😊
