Pumpkin chili is a great way to use excess pumpkin and not taste the pumpkin. Of course it will add some natural sweetness and helps thicken the chili but it compliments the rest of the ingredients of a standard chili recipe very well!

That sounds like a great idea! I bet the strong flavors of the chili will work well with pumpkin.

You are in Ct. What zone? Im zone 6b in R.I.... My pole beans are just starting to come in. I dont remember if this is the usual time for them to produce, or if they are running late .?? Maybe 2 heat waves this summer set some things back? Same w peppers. Just starting to get a lot of flowers now w cooler temps !! . My first planting of zucchini did not do well at all. I have 4 zucchini plants I put in 3 weeks ago and are doing quite well, putting out male flowers. 1 month old Spacemaster cuke plants growing quiet well. Appreciate all your info / videos. Thank You.

I’m in zone 6 - different sources will say 6a or 6b, so I usually just say zone 6 😆. My pole beans always seem to me to be later than usual, but then they always catch up. This summer was definitely an unusual one for weather in our area!
