I'm liking this selection of CGI films of childhood characters like Captain Underpants, the Peanuts movie, Scoob, and now Garfield. They arguably aren't necessarily "mainstream" franchises, but the dedication into the animation styles for each movie has done them all justice to keep them being memorable as well as introduce them to younger generations.

If you're expecting a good movie with good story, don't. This a light movie with little plot to it, it's very light with some comedy. Watch it just to reminisce on your childhood. You can expect good animation, good CG, good voice acting, but don't expect much from the story itself. Basically the whole team did a very good job, except the story writer.
