The way some fans have short term memory is baffling a lot of them are saying martinelli isn’t good enough all of a sudden completely forgetting what he’s capable of and how he did 22/23 season he’s a much better player than trossard. Trossard is only more impactful as a sub but martinelli on form is dangerous and easily minimum 20 goal+ player a season

We aren’t a powerhouse. All the commentary on Arsenal would have been much different if we lost 2-0 which was very possible. Arsenal were very lucky. Great result and that is all that matters today, but City are still miles ahead. Arsenal need a few more attacking options if they are going to have a shot this season.

Martinelli is trying very hard to play more thoughtfully. His natural game is to drive forward at high speed and cause a persistent threat to the opposition. It's a learning curve because he is struggling to work out when he should run at his opponent or pass it and if he's not fully pumped when he makes a late decision to run, the defenders get the upper hand and he's forced to simply turn around and pass it backward or inside, to little effect. His attempt to change his style also means he's not as in-sync with the team's rhythm compared to when was playing by his natural instincts.
