Well upgrading the garage actually gives you more money in the long run. On the final upgrade on the garage it gives you 2 spots to work on cars.

The register should move back so no one can walk behind you. I would put the pull the register back and put the ice cream coolers aligned with that beam near the register when you pull it back. That newspaper rack is too big and in the way. Put the smokes near the wall closer to the register
