His passion for music is infectious. He could make me love an album without even listening to it.

His last comment is so true. When I pirate music I don't give it enough of a chance. It's so easy to get millions of songs, and you end up just skipping through your music like a speed demon, without giving it proper appreciation. But when you buy vinyl you feel more compelled to listen through the whole LP, rather than just 1 or 2 songs. And you're not just buying music, you're buying art that you can put on display. Digital music is convenient (and awesome), but it can't live up to physical media.
