They did this for their encore in Glasgow two months ago. Seeing Gaslight perform one of the best songs from my favourite band was truly powerful. I cried manly tears.

This truly is a fantastic cover of possibly the greatest song, as i write this its got to the final minute of the song and i think using the term fantastic is an understatement.

Covers aren't necessarily intended to 'improve' the originals. I think they're really just tributes to songs that the covering bands have gained inspiration from!

The original Baba O'Riley is damn close to perfection in musical form. You DON'T improve on it - how can you? That said, this is still a solid cover.
@Thrashslashedmashedp13 жыл бұрын
@CriticsConfession So you hate them for paying homage to the bands that probabally inspired them, in reality getting them this far due to the inspiration given? I see nothing wrong with giving credit where credits due. I admit maybe not at the end of a set but this is a tune I could walk out of the venue feeling pumped to.

@mizzorebiggestfan Nope, its Baba O'Riley

Before calling people "fucking idiots" you might check your facts. The Who does not have a song called Teenage Wasteland. The song is called Baba O'Riley. With the internet at your disposal for fact checking, it shouldn't be that hard.

Samantha Hoy I agree! I really think Alex L. is the weak point in the band. I don't really care for how he plays bass. It's just so...bleh
@The_Mourning_Paper9 жыл бұрын
+GreenIce101 Stylistically for TGA, it's perhaps a positive thing that their typical basslines aren't showy. I mean, my two cents, but I think their music meshes well with a simple bassline that kind of just sits in the background and brings everything together cohesively. I really couldn't see...like...Flea playing bass in TGA for instance.
@GreenIce1019 жыл бұрын
I'm not saying he has to be Thunderfingers rocking the bass, but ya know... root notes
