Ahout my only complain is seeing a 60 card deck running things like Sages Stone, and yhr 2k defenders, when indstead Apprentice Magician would provide better defence agaisnt strong monsters, and almost guaranteed tribute fodder.

Edwards right you need to find the heart of the deck so you can find the perfect balance to make that deck work you weren't ready and you went in over your head let's hope next episode you can figure it out. Also I think the title is a bit misleading because you didn't really have Edward summon out Gate Guardian.

Ritchie your deck is too bricky, you need to fix this problem before you battle again. I think you can make a deck that will rival legends. When you show me your worthy of blue eyes then ill call you magician with eyes of blue
