El público estuvo increíble. Por algo eligieron Santiago. Bien merecido el reconocimiento. Los artistas saben donde está su mejor audiencia. Metallica en D.F., Megadeth, Dream Theater y Ac/Dc en Buenos Aires, Iron Maiden, Anthrax y The Gathering en Santiago, Dark Tranquility en Milan, Iced Earth en Atenas, Deep Purple e Yngwie en Japón. El buen rock es global y se siente en todos lados.

Yo estuve allí y no sabía lo de la grabación. Cuando ví la mesa de sonido, gigantesca y las cámaras aéreas, me dí cuenta que estaba ante algo grande. Y no sólo fue grandioso, fue también poderoso y sublime. Yo venía a conmoverme con Saturnine y la versión de esa noche en Chile, no tiene comparación. No existe nada mejor.

Yo, contemplando esa mutua complicidad, me enamoré más de ella y de la comunión con su público. Salí completamente sordo y me tocó irme caminando de vuelta, sorprendentemente con otro espectador que estaba al lado de la mesa de sonido y bajo el parlante de retorno para los técnicos (o algo así). Fue memorable, sobre todo cuando su voz llenaba todo, en varios temas. Su voz sonó prístina e intemporal.

Me imagino que sos todavia un nenito por tal comentario. Ese album salió hace mas de 20 años si hicieran la misma mierda eso si seria no tener una propia identidad. Me gustaba ese album en esa epoca pero ahora es mi menos favorita de The gathering. Decir que un grupo no tiene identidad xq no tocan metal es una de las mas grandes estupideces que he escuchado. Fijate que aun escucho Death Metal, Black Metal, etc. No podría decirte que me encantó los ultimos albums de este grupo (sin Anneke). No los absorbí todavía pero los albums con Anneke eran mejor que la mayoría de albums que quitan muchos grupos de metal. Y bueno...me imagino que no vas a seguir con esa clase de pensamiento en en 25 años (yo escucho metal desde hace por lo menos 25 años.) Eventualmente vas a poder apreciar otros grupos que no son metal y de hecho te parecerán la mayoría de grupos de metal aburrido. Me pasó a mi y te va a pasar a ti...a menos que mueras antes.
