All in all good job. I have worked with all species of crocodilians (24) for many years. I have to say that if you use a crate and simply pull the gator in to the crate, you dont have to restrain it at all. And you can also very easily slide it in to the water when releasing it. It will reduce the stress of the animals a whole lot. And use wet towels in stead, it will stay on the eyes/head much better.

From what I can see as a viewer I truly believe that Fred would be over the moon happy with the enclosure that you built for them and knowing that you are always going to take care of them, and the amount of care that you are going to give them. What beautiful alligators, in excellent condition. I never knew they growl, and roar like a Lion. The show stick that John was explaining, is the same as a bull hook that elephant trainers used. I found it very interesting about the island in a pond and visual barriers to break up the line of sight, it works for pheasants too. My condolences to Fred's family.
