Opinions of people are influenced by old versions... Someone can just hardly accept that Ruki's voice won't be the same after so many years. If those were new songs, they would react differently. I personally love the new Cassis and I'm really looking forward to hear full Reila, Kare uta and Ito. They really sound amazing in the preview o3o I was afraid to scroll down comments but seems like there will be more people who like it in the end

I honestly love his current voice with the ballads. I think that kind of deeper, velvet texture to his voice really works well with ballads.They both offer different feels when listening to the songs (old vs new) and really makes the album not just another compilation.

just... Ruki's voice changed A LOT And i love his current! very very very much. its not like that... Its perfect for new songs style. And what happened here? it sounds like he is trying to sing with his old voice and thats why it sounds so artificial. and... i think that emotions are so different. many years have passed. he cant bring back old himslef. old ruki's voice was sometimes VERY BAD xD but i love those emotions.

I think the same :/ I couldn't wait for DLN and Ito but know I'd say the new DLN is a little bit worse and Ito is completly ruined :( The first one have special atmosphere, it was absolutely unique and the rerecorded version is like... fake? :( I love their music but the new album is disappointing. But maybe after hearing the whole songs we will change our mind ;D

yes i agree for some reasons it looks a bit artificial now.. I think it's because Ruki is trying with his voice to give these old song a true ballad groove, and sometimes depending on the song the shock is real
