Three years since I first heard about The Gazette and this is the first time I've actually seen Yune, good job me. He looks like he'd fit the Phantasmagoria type, he's kinda pretty :3 AHAHA, I can't get over how visual they were back then. Aoi with black lipstick will forever be etched in my head. XD

I don't know if you know this but he said in an interview that these old songs were inspired by horror movies that were in vogue that time. Plus he said that he started writing songs about the real world from the time of Filth in the beauty onwards & songs like Cassis & Reila were based mainly on dreams and imagination. So though he does write things related to his personal life, it's not necessary that it's directly about his life. He has also said he has been inspired by other people's life.

ooo It seems like Gazette used to use a lot of Dir en grey's traits when they were younger... Like crazy makeup and fake vomit and blood etc (esp in Mad Marble Hell Vision. xP) But now they have their own styles, and I'm really happy for them! the GazettE and Dir en grey are both special and awesome in their own ways now. Love both of them!!

dear Ruki-san might have been be sick of life at times as he did go through a lot, but i don't think he would consider suicide. He also said he does not support people cutting themselves..& though he may seem to some like a sad,hurt person cause of the lyrics he is actually very firm and strong . He even said he was always against the practice of cutting. He said he even wrote on his blog about it..so basically he doesn't really believe in hurting oneself due to suicidal tendencies like that.

RavenFudge900- Their older songs are dark and gloomy and so were they. They used to be an eroguro band (like Dir en Grey), but now are kote-kote. Just in case, Kote-Kote and eroguro are sub-genres of Visual Kei.

symphony137 in their beginning they were eroguro. Eroguro nansensu= erotic+ grotesque+ nonsense. Especially Dir en grey. Just look at the Obscure PV (or almost the entire Vulgar album... Or well, just them as a whole). And you'll see the grotesque and erotic features. Though I'd understand that with The GazettE because they did look Kote back then (though not old-school IMO)
