Being in that state of mind to even mention Filippa here is kinda inappropriate I think, why ? because how everything went and ended with their previous band is absolutely in sane in my opinion. I know almost everything about it and it's not to be discussed here or anywhere else. The members of The Gems are outstanding musicians that are ready for any stadium out there. Most important, they are having fun. This new chapter (The Gems) is the best thing that ever happened, all things taken in consideration.... Thanks.

Great job ladies!!! And awesome to see Mia on bass. I still miss Crucified Barbara. Might Guernica sing a song or two like Electric Sky, Into the Fire, Sell My Kids For Rock-n-Roll, Rock Me Like the Devil???? she ain't new, and she ain't a GEM. gem is an acronym for guernica, emlee, and mona. there is no 4th GEM, and there never will be. any live bassist is a hired gun. i was lucky enough to find an interview where they actually explained this.

Pretty sure that's www.youtube.com/@miakarlssonmusic . She's played with The Gems a couple of times - on their album release party for example (that I was lucky enough to attend!). But as the other comment says - the formal lineup of The Gems has Mona on guitar AND bass, and then they bring in some bass friend to help them out for live gigs.
