THE DEFIANT ARTIST, Frank Ocean, arrives once in a blue moon to shake up the media. His experimental approach validated the ears of listeners, becoming a representative of transforming alternative R&B but the commercial domain of this artists career is intentional given it notably lacks when pared to counterparts who’ve featured him. Nevertheless, his presence is highly anticipated when your favorite artist releases a project and that’s because Frank Ocean brings more to the table than cookie cutter hit singles.
In a descriptive video essay I review Frank Ocean's discography in areas I find important, such as: audio production, marketing strategies, social status, personality and much more. In this biography I compose my opinions from facts along with elements of humor and satisfaction, justifying the reasons I find him a genius.

When frank oceans album blonde first came out I didn’t listen to it Idk why and I love frank. A couple years later I was going through a lot and one of his songs came in my suggestions. I played it and ended up listening to the whole album by accident and it was a great emotional experience. I’m glad Frank is back posting after the passing of his brother, hopefully we get more music from him.

Blonde is one of the best albums... of all time. Literally. The mood change between Nights at exactly 30 minutes into the album, Futura Free & a ‘light yearʼ at 9:24, a light year is 9:24 trillions long (if I remember correctly lol). Frank Oceanʼs just a pure musical genius & I'm very happy that heʼs doing other moves outside of music.

@@kylatokki22 Futura Free is the final song of Blonde, which is 9:24 minutes long. The last words said in Futura Free are ‘How far is a light year?ʼ A light year is 9.461 × 10^12, like you said. Which is 9:24 trillions long, that's one of the reasons why Frank is a genius.

This is one of the best videos on Frank. Well done! I know he’s a super private person, but I’d love to see him sit down with that guy from hot ones. In the very, very few interviews I’ve seen, he gets asked stupid, generic questions. That “what do you want people to know about you as an artist” part made me think of that.

I found Frank when I was 13, and i´ll be honest, my English was trash and I had no idea what his songs meant. But I´m so thankful that my friend, that disappeared and I no longer have contact with, showed me Frank and therefore helped me figure out who I was. Who I am. Now that I´m nearly 18 I realize what his music is actually about, the truth. Hidden in metaphores so that those who don´t know, can´t understand. Becuse it´s like that all the time, if you haven´t experienced something, you can´t relate to someone who has. I think, in order for someone to enjoy Franks prodigy you have to dig deeper, feel the music and what it means to you. You can´t listen to Blond if you´re not in the right mindset. Dig deeper guys, dig deeper...

As much as I love To pimp a butterfly, dam, big steppers and MAAD, Blond is my favorite album. I discovered it right after a break up and didn't even like it on the first listen. Anyone ever think about how Hls Album Blonde is sometimes called Blond on certain streaming services. I think he did that on purpose because Blonde and Blond are both feminine and Masculine versions of the same word. (Similiar to how languages like french and Latin are Gendered Languages) and Frank Ocean is Bi sexual. Pure genius.

I think it's the way you feel it, how you feel the songs. You don't just listen to them, you know? I didn't know anything about him back then I just got the time to listen by accidentally to one of his songs particularly in that album (blonde), first was as I remember self control or ivy idk i forgot it lol and now I didn't expect that I would love the whole album like every time I listen to it it feels like the very first time I actually play the songs in that album. It helped me especially in my post-break up, it made me feel sad as f*ck but whole at the same time like there's so many realizations in my life. Now I can tell he's one of the artist that made me feel inspire and see things differently.

This was the first song I listened to by frank, and something about it just touched me differently, for a while after that I remember just kinda forgetting about frank until the begging of middle school when I really stared listening to him, and it had been years after his albums released. I thinks this shows how much of an impact his songs have on people, because even thought they were written years ago the songs are still being listened to. If I had the money I would donate to your channel. This was a great biography on Christopher/Frank. Our household misses his masterpieces. Wherever he is I hope he is okay. Prayers of positive meditation go out to Frank.
