I always wondered why Celestia never had a lover or childern in the show since she seems to be on the older side. it all make sense now, she's just two heartbroken to ever love a different pony other than Sombra 😭💔 poor Celestia didn't deserve that. I wish they did more with Sombra in the series other than just vanishing him into the void. It would have been very cool to see him be reformed like that other pony consumed in shadow was ( forgot his name ). I think maybe it would have made for a really cool movie, or even just a extra-long episode. oh well, you win some you lose some 😔

Ohh do I have something to tell you, Sombra was reformed in another comic storyline, the Siege of The Crystal Empire! Sadly, his appearance as unreformed Sombra contradicted that story, making it effectively not canon. It still includes some nice backstory about Sombra, the comics have a lot to offer

That would be really interesting to see for sure. At leats, we can settle well this posible idea with the story "Life is a Breeze" in yotube if you want to see that destiny. 👍👍

Despite not being interested in this romance thing, I'm glad to see a lot of careful and passion of this passion to make this "What If..?" MLP story very fascinating until the end. That's the main reason this one is one of my favourite special comics of G4 series, despite of being canon or not.

If Celestia were to have a paramour it’d more likely that said boyfriend would be a dragon. Thus making a Spike a gift or pseudo offspring fur Celestia & because she never was able to hatch him she just gave him away. But, she did keep him close. By having him return to Canterlot on vague important duties that Twilight once said in that sleepover episode.

If we're going to talk about dimensional collide, I'm surprised that that didn't happen in Spring Breakdown, aka the special where Sunset not only returns to mainline Equestria, but SciTwi joins her. Would have been a more appropriate ending than it going on a couple more specials.

Eyup, as I said, I would have expected some kind incursion to happen at some point in EqG, but we sadly never got that, it also might be too heavy for MLP

Also, if and when you eventually cover Siege of the Crystal Empire, I think it may be worth noting that Mirror Sombra sacrificing himself to become evil may have been what led to Sombra's revival in that storyline....which sadly isn't canon to the show. Or is it? I've talked with some people in other KZbin comment threads, and they brought up the possibility that the Sombra we see in Season 9 being Mirror Sombra, rather than the Sombra that died in Season 3 and came back in Siege of the Crystal Empire. That would explain the personality and voice change of Sombra in Season 9, while also following up on the after effects of Mirror Sombra becoming evil. Unless Sombra was but an illusion or clone created by Discord, which is a possibility.
