I dont know much, but hear me out.. I think the one that destroyed Khaenriah was Celestia. After that, Gold's creations ( Durin, that Tsurumi wolf and many other weird shts ) went berserk all over Teyvat. At first, the Archons defended the abyssal monsters in their own terittory, but since the fights were neverending, they decided that it would be the best to stop it at where it all come out ( Khaenriah )

Honestly i don’t understand how can somebody enjoy a game that much just because of characters and damage. I would stop enjoying the game really quick if the only thing i cared about is damage. I just don’t understand what they get from getting a million damage? Maybe it’s easier ti get primogems? But it all sounds quite repetitive to me. I really enjoy the lore and i often pull of characters based on their personality too, so i play the game because i wanna find out how the story ends and i am curious about all the mysteries that it has for us.

If you're doing the Sumeru's quest about getting the bija the Aranara will tell a story about a Seelie and a human who fell in love with each other in 1 of it's quest the Aranara also tell you that a Seelie got a human form and their job is sometimes becoming a partner for a traveler a long time ago, they also teach traveler the world languages and will guide the traveler. Then I realized Paimon got a human form and also the Aranara didn't call her "nara Paimon", they just call her Paimon. Aranara only use "nara" on human. The quests in Sumeru really made me think Paimon is a Seelie

Most people think shes the god of time (i cant remember all the reasons but heres some) When you open the paimon menu, she is the only one moving- even your characters and the monsters stop. The npcs who regularly move dont move while paimon changes the time. I cant remember the rest Edit: her name "paimon" is a demon name like the other archons Morax, beelzebul, baal, barbatos. And the fact that gods can be weakened too has been shown by guoba who doesnt even know who he is anymore. So even though shes clearly stupid as of now, she might not have always been that way.

Like while Aether is asleep, Lumine has traveled quit a bit, helping out in Khaenriah, she knows dainsleif, she knew why Khaenriah was attacked, she's like their leader even before Khaenriah people turned into monsters. There's no way they just simply arrived on that moment and try to leave asap.

the twins traveled as stars which you can see in the opening cutscene! lumine/aether were asleep when they landed in teyvat. the other twin woke up first and saw the destruction. they told the traveler that they had to leave this world. that’s when they tried to leave and the unknown god separated them. so the traveler fell asleep again during those 500 years and woke up to where we are now. it’s possible that the other twin was also asleep but eventually woke up and escaped from the unknown god to get where they are now with the abyss order

There is one inaccuracy here! The Twins arrived in Teyvat waaay before the Khaenri'ah cataclysm. The Abyss Twin wakes up before the Traveler Twin and travels tge world with Dainsleif, then the cataclysm happens and the Traveler wakes up and they both try to leave Teyvat. Since it's canon the Twins are shooting stars (Ei, Albedo and Razor's voicelines), it's very possible that they were the stars that created the Chasm, since the Traveler mentions at the Rite of Parting that Morax was the first god they faced off when they arrived here

Fun fact, the archons are named after demons. Paimon is named after some type of spirit. The fatui are named after characters in an old Italian play from the 16th century called “Commedia Dell’Arte”. Sucrose is literally table sugar. Albedo is named after some light effect. The symbol seen on Paimons outfit is an upside down triquetra and the three ovals overlapped represents the power of three or smth like that but since paimons is upside down, it reverses it. The crown Paimon wears is the same crown seen on the opening screen of the game. Paimon also is named after one of the nine kings of hell according to the lesser key of Solomon. Morax (zhonglis archon name) is a demon and also a president of hell. Barbatos (ventis archon name) is a great Duke of hell. Eis archon name is Beelzebul, named after another demon but is also associated with the Canaanite god Baal aka Makotos archon name. (Pls excuse any mistakes, I am just recently getting into demonology)

I don't actually think the moon we see today is the remaining corpse. Instead I think celestia and the moon we see today were build out of the corpse, under a false sky. The moon we see in the Abyss is way bigger than the one we see. That's no coincidence if you ask me. Maybe the moons didn't actually kill each other, but celestia just took one of them for building material, but since one was now gone, a disaster occured under the real sky.

8:20 just letting y’all know, apparently Orobashi didn’t just do this bc he wanted to, while he was making watasumi island, he used the coral from himself to make an island for the people to live (before it was just water) and due to this the soil wasn’t the best for plants to grow in (I think they referred to it as holy soil) and the people keep on complaining and begging for Orobashi to do something, while he know Yashiro Island belongs to the electro archon, but his people were dying (btw he never wanted to be an archon, he tried to just keep his people safe) so he gathered an army to just take the island, of course he fails and get slain (btw this is just a quick summary, forgive if I got anything wrong) Edit: Oh yeah I forgot about that forbidden book srry

Besides the lore bombs Enkanomiya and Raiden's second quest dropped on us, I'll point out a few things: The traveller and the sibling arrived in Teyvat a lot before the cataclism. The traveller woke up during the war, but the sibling was wandering around who knows for how long. The sibling also was Daisnleif travel buddy before the cataclism, since they became enemies when the twilight sword failed to defend the people from Khaenriah.

I really appreciate the timeline video. It's really informative and I actually got to learn a lot of things that I may have missed during my Genshin play through. But as for now I would like to recommend you that you update the Timeline video. As the lore revealed in Enkanomia seems to predate even the moon sisters. The 7 dragon Sovriegn and the arrival of Phanes seems to be the origin of the Genshin lore for now. Who knows what might get revealed further in the story going further.

GENSHIN THEORY: -I noticed something in Genshin Impact while I was playing and I wanted to share it with all of you. -As you know, all the abyss monsters such as abyss mages and hilichurls were once citizens of Khaenri'ah. -And we also know that the Abyss Order’s members are all citizens of Khaenri'ah as well. -All of the Khaenri'ah transformations into monsters seemed to be grouped based on class, rank or profession. For example all of the Black Serpent Knights transformed into the Shadowy Husks and only Shadowy Husks. -This means we can guess what some of the other Khaenri'ah monster’s original professions were before they transformed. -Firstly, let's talk about the Abyss Lectors. -The Abyss Lectors are a part of the Abyss Order and are enemies. All Khaenri'ah monsters are all assumed on profession so what would have been the original Abyss Lector’s roles as a part of Khaenri'ah? Well on the wiki page we can see this line of text: “ These creatures are evangelists that can chant malefic poetry of the Abyss to command their powers. “ Evangelists are “ a person who seeks to convert others to the Christian faith, especially by public preaching: “ (as by the dictionary). Genshin has heavy themes of Gnosticism so this must not be a coincidence. And the last line of text reads: “ Within the Abyss Order, Lectors refer to themselves as "exegetes."[1] “ Exegetes are “an expounder or textual interpreter, especially of scripture.” And down below when we see what the Abyss Lector’s names translated into other languages, we see this: Chanter, cantor, bard and scholar. These all refer to people who preach and teach in one way or another. Mostly, the cantor and scholar caught my attention. A cantor is someone, “an official who sings liturgical music and leads prayer in a synagogue.” And scholar is “a specialist in a particular branch of study, especially the humanities; a distinguished academic:” This means that Abyss Lectors used to be Khaenri'ahn people (most likely scholars or officials) who taught, most likely in a way of music, chanting or speaking to preach and educate others about certain things. And based on how gnosticism is presented here, we can only assume that they are preaching about religion, if not at least something related to the divine and gods. This is backed up by their design as during their attack they start chanting and they both hold some sort of object such as a book or an orb. And if they were an official who carried these duties out, by some extent, we can assume that they might possibly be priests. This can also be confirmed since religious roles do exist in Genshin as Barbara is a deaconess and Monstadt has a church dedicated to their god. -Next we have Abyss Heralds. Abyss Heralds are another form of enemy presented by the Abyss Order. On their wiki page we can see this: “ They can transform with an Abyssal Gospel.[1] “ A gospel is “the teaching or revelation of Christ:”. Once again, very heavy themes of gnosticism. When at the bottom of the wiki page, their names translation part, we can see this: Apostle, emissary and herald. A emissary is “a person sent on a special mission, usually as a diplomatic representative.”, an apostle is” each of the twelve chief disciples of Jesus Christ.” and lastly “an official messenger bringing news.”. And from wikipedia I gathered this: “An apostle (/əˈpɒsəl/), in its literal sense, is an emissary, from Ancient Greek ἀπόστολος (apóstolos), literally "one who is sent off", from the verb ἀποστέλλειν (apostéllein), "to send off". The purpose of such sending off is usually to convey a message, and thus "messenger" is a common alternative translation; other common translations include "ambassador" and "envoy".” This means that Abyss Heralds are and were most likely messengers of some sort and based on the heavy gnosticism theme around it such as including the words “gospel” and “apostle” we can assume they were messengers related to the theme of divinity and gods. -This is backed up by the Abyss Mages being a magician or sorcerer based on the word: mage “a magician or learned person.” and in their monster forms they also represented that with them using magic and spell casting as a form of attack and holding a staff with them. Also backed up by the Black Serpent Knights as they were Khaenri'ahn royal guards and in their monster form they are represented once again, as guards and protectors with their designs having them carry large swords and armour. -This means that Abyss Lectors were most likely Khaenri'ahn scholars or an official who seeks to spread the teachers of a god/their god by using poetry and music and that Abyss Heralds were most likely Khaenri'ahn messengers on a diplomatic mission, mostly likely having some connections to gods. Not to mention that both Abyss Lectors and Abyss Heralds drop a thing called “gloomy statuettes”. The description on the item reads: “An idol made in the likeness of some unknown person. Even though this carving has seen many years pass, it still has not been damaged in any way. It seems that its previous owner must have cherished it like some holy icon.” The “holy icon” they are talking about in the description most likely refers to a god or deity of some sort. And they must have treasured this in some way as the description reads: “ It seems that its previous owner must have cherished it” Not only that but this is also a drop material for Shadowy Husks/Black Serpent Knights. -This begs the question, why would Khaenri'ah have priests and messengers who seek to spread godly teaching and messages if they themselves are a godless nation? And more of all, did Khaenri'ah worship a secret god?

First of all, really impressive theory! Its amazing! To answer the last question, maybe the abyss lector/heralds aren't actually from khaenri'ah? Some abyss monsters like hilichurls (and abyss mages iirc) are actually from other destroyed nations, like sal vindagnyr. Priests were a thing in Sal vindagnyr, proved by "Priests Box"

@@CakeCrab Great idea! However there are some things to consider. 1. Abyss Lectors/Heralds all look incredibly similar to the Black Serpent Knights (who we know is from Khaenri'ah) 2. The Abyss Lectors/Heralds, Shadowy Husks and Black Serpent Knights all share the Gloomy Statuette drop. If the Abyss Lectors were from Sal Vindagnyr and carries the token of a deity, thats fine. But the Black Serpent Knights also do too? This wouldn't make sense. 3. The Genshin Wiki backs this up as on the topic of Khaenri'ah they said that the Abyss Order emerged from the downfall of Khaenri'ah and also this "The Abyss Order originates from the destruction of Khaenri'ah by the gods;[2] it seeks to destroy the countries under the protection of The Seven in revenge.[7] The people of Khaenri'ah turned into the monsters of the Abyss.[8] Thus, it is thought that Abyss Mages, Abyss Heralds, and Abyss Lectors were once people from Khaenri'ah, possibly its aristocracy and knights / defending people"

You have a point :D buut.. We have proof of former civilizations being cursed, as "ukko" a frostarm lavachurl has been mentioned in the princess' box. There is an Abyss mage called "Landrich" which is the name of an aristocrat who lived 1000 years ago. All sorts of hilichurls has been around for way before the cataclysm too. Both Khaenri'ahn and other civs have look a like monsters. And in a secret abyss letter (kzbin.info/www/bejne/pJK4dWulobitgpo ) it seems people from several thousand years ago was calling for an abyss lector The gloomy statuette could be related to the curse or the abyss, and not their prior civilization :)

@@CakeCrab do you possibly think that sal vindgrnyr and k'haenriah could have some connection? hilichurls have been around before the cataclysm which clearly means that the k'haenrhian curse of monsters wasnt created when the downfall came. the current genshin plot circles around the traveller, their twin, the nations of teyvat and k'haenriah but if the curse of monsters is older wouldn't that mean the plot of genshin would be a lot more extensive than we know? perhaps we might have to see genshin lore and history from before the civilization of k'haenriah.

Enkanomiya and the Chasm however, came from the first united civilization, and Khaenri'ah probably does too as it has the same kind of architecture. So we will probably hear a lot more about the first united civ

I was rereading the genshin webtoon, vennessa was fighting hilichurls (1000 years ago) besides ursa but hilichurls were khaenriah people who became monsters during the cataclysm 500yrs ago. The timeline doesn't add up. Rewatching this video, I just realized that Signora was over 500 years old (imagine if the other harbingers were centuries old as well)

no, the sustainer of heavenly principles scene was right before the cataclysm- she stopped you from leaving. Your sibling leaves and witnesses the end of khaenriah after you two are split whilst you sleep for 500 years.

@Melkyb Javier yeah this is exactly what happens. The „evil” twin woke up first and travelled the world. Then wakes up the „good” twin and they rush to leave as the cataclysm goes on, they are stopped by the Unknown Goddess and the „good/travller” twin is put to slumber full of nightmares, and wakes up 500 years after. We don’t know what has been happening to the „evil” twin yet

Yeah, so the travelers reached teyvat way before 500 years, the protagonist was in sleep(unknow reason), meanwhile the other one has traveled around and even become some one important in khaenri'ah, then the cataclysm happend and the abyss sibiling wakes up the protagonist to escape, follows to the intro of the game. We don't know what happend after they got seperated by the sustainer, only that the abyss sibling returned with his former allies and the traveler later meets paimon. The exact dates and events that leads to them awaken are all unknow.

A bard named Alfred returns to Mondstadt only to find out that her daughter succumbed to some illness before his return and the kids Yi Xian and Yi Zhu lose their mother. A Knight of Favonius named Godwin lost his keepsake and his expedition party and refuses to return, Little Liu wants to reach her father stuck at Liyue and help him, etc.

There was seven vishaps that controlled old teyvat before any god and the "lunar palace" Once the primodial one came and killed the Vishaps, He created the earth and heaven (Celestia) some time later another god came, And fought against the primodial one. leading enkanomiya to sink into the abyss, The primodial one remained victorious and prevented the people of enkanomiya to exit and kept them underground until orabashi lead them into the surface

I think the traveler soon will fight two biggest boss in his/her journey.First maybe he/she has to fight the tsaritsa,the god in snezhnaya.When we fight Childe he has say that Tsaritsa is the queen with very kind heart but she has to become stronger to make the world in peace so she make fatui to steal every gnosis so she can become more stronger.When the right time come when the snezhnaya will be available in map maybe we have to fight Tsaritsa to take all the gnosis. Second is we have to fight The Abyss.From what we know the abyss is plotting something to destroy the world that all The Seven have been created.We know abyss mage is one of Khaenri'ah people that have been sworn by the gods.So maybe because of that they want to take revenge to the gods by destroy their world.The traveler who has get all the gnosis will fight the abyss using all the power from gnosis.The traveler maybe will fight using archon power(this is only my theory). All of this is only my opinion regarding all the story so far.Maybe it can be true or maybe my whole prediction is wrong.
