Glad you are ignoring the New Line films, they totally failed the series. TBF, one could just go right from The New Blood to Never Hike Alone, I believe, and not much would be missed with Jason still at Crystal Lake and the weird seeming ending of JTM disregarded by the viewer. My 2 cents.

I am not sure about you, but when you have the opportunity to work with Thom Mathews and Vinny Guastaferro on a Friday related project, you take that opportunity and do the best you can with the resources you got. If you don't like it, that's your problem. There is no other time or place this can be done.
